AMUSEMENT PARK

Tuesday afternoon, my friend and I decided to go out for a date! (A girlfriends' date). We went to the mall to buy some new stuffs, we eat in a fancy restaurant and we even watched horror movie in the cinema, as we always do when we're together. At 6 o'clock in the evening, we decided to go home. We ride on a bus and drop off at the bus stop. We traveled for about thirty (30) minutes and when we're already there, I asked Christine if we could for awhile until we get home. It was only 6:30 in the evening, so she said yes. But after saying that she asked me this: "Hmm. Where should we walk for awhile apple?" she said. "On that road! I heard a lot of rumors about it." I replied. After that conversation, we started walking along the road that I was talking about, but we saw a sign board saying.. "Dead End. There's no way to pass through." But Christine and I, ignored it. And there are rumors that this road we are walking along, was enchanted. Because whoever walks on here will never go back again. We knew about it ever since before but, we never believed. When we reached the middle of the road, we stumbled upon an abondoned amusement park. We eagerly start to aproach it. But Christine stopped walking and I asked her, "Why? Is there something wrong?" I mumbled. "Are you sure you want to go inside on that amusement park?" she whispered to my ear. I nodded and she comes along with me. But as we get closer, the ligths suddenly turns on and the rides starts to move.

At first, we feel nervousness but because of our curiosity, we keep going to find out what's happening. We started looking at the rides that starts to moved awhile ago and we can't deny, it really amazed us. We have a lot of questions in our mind. Like, why is this amusement park still beautiful after being abandoned by whoever owned this? We keep looking for an answer so we went farther, to see if someone out there whose operating the rides. But unluckily, we found no one. So, we decided to go back at the main entrance. I asked one more request to my friend Christine, If we can ride on the merry-go-round before we go home. "Whaaat?! Are you out of your mind?! Do you want to have a ride there? We're just the two of us here. This is so creepy! And how can you ride on that If its already moving?" she said with a groggy voice. "Uhm. Okay. I think we should go home 'cause, it's already late. But wait, what time is it?" I asked. Instead of answering me, Christine looks scared after glancing at her phone to look what time is it. And I asked her again.. "Why Christine? What's wrong?" I asked worriedly. "It's already 12 o'clock in the morning" she said. After hearing that, I can't avoid to feel afraid too. As I can remember, I also glanced at my phone just awhile ago.. it's only past 7pm. So, how could it be supposed to happen?. After my realization, we look back at the amusement park, the lights turned off & the rides stop from moving. We look at each other & we have the same thing in mind. We run as fast as we could & we stop because, we're almost out of breath. "Apple, I think what they were saying about this road, was all true" Christine said wearily. I nod at her while I was crying. "I am really sorry tine, because I'm the one who brought you here. This is all my fault!" I said worriedly. She is tapping my back as if everything's fine. "No. Don't blame yourself. I also agreed with you right?" she said while smiling at me lightly. "Thank you" I replied. And then, we keep on walking but still we end up at the amusement park, as if there's something playing with us. And I say it to Christine, "I have an idea on how we could go back to the straight road we went through" I said with a big  hope. Christine seems curious about what I am saying. "But how? According to the rumors that we never believed, that whoever stepped on here, would never go back because this road was enchanted" Christine said firmly & afraid. "I know that. I think we're just being played by ENGKANTO, the kind of beings that we didn't see" I said.

And I told her about the superstitious, that when we're being played by the beings we didn't see, we need to take off our shirt, then reverse it & take it on again & we also pray. After doing that, we started walking fast, holding hands together to be able to east the fear that we feel. We walked about 15 minutes.. luckily, we found the sign board that we saw before entering on that enchanted road. At last! We're here now at a bus stop that we drop off & sit on the bench. I called my mom to fetch us & she answered my call quickly. "Oh my God! Where are you? I'd been calling you for so many times but your number was out of reach" my mom said worriedly. "Mom, I'm really fine. Please tell Aunt Anna that Christine were fine too" I said. "Okay. Wait us there and we're gonna fetch both of you" my mom said in a hurry. Afyer that call, I looked and smiled at my friend, Christine. I know she also felt relieved, after that horrible thing that happened. And we decided to forget all of that and never ever go on that enchanted road again. As in, never again!
