Chapter 10

I ran up to my mother and hugged her as tight as I could. I felt a tear slowly roll down my cheek.

"I've miss you so much" I weeped.

"I missed you too, darling" she replied. My mom ran up to Emma and hugged her.

"Hi Renee" Emma said cheerfully.

"You girls must be starving! come into the kitchen I'll make you something!" my mom said. We walked into my mothers large house for the first time since my parents divorce and entered the kitchen. It was an open house with a crystal white kitchen. We sat at the island and talked while my mom made us some Mac and Cheese. Once we were done my mom picked up our dishes and decided it was time to show us to our rooms. She led us up the grand double sided staircase in the middle of the foryer. We turned down the hallway to my right and entered the first room on the left.

"This is Emma's room" my mother said. "There's a full walk in closet and a full bathroom for you" she said pointing to two wooden french doors. She put down her bags and we all walked back into the hallway. We went into the bedroom directly across from that room.

"This is Allie's room" my mother said. I opened the doors and let out a slight gasp.

"It's perfect! Thank you mom!" I shouted while I hugged her. My room had a walk in closet and a bathroom just liked Emma's. At my dads we always shared a bathroom because his apartment is so small. I put my bags down on the floor in front of my dresser and we all sat on my large king bed. We were all sitting down talking and reminiscing when Emma started talking about our weekend at Magcon.

"OH MY GOSH I FORGOT TO CALL NASH!" I shouted. I grabbed my phone and ran down stairs through the kitchen and out the back door onto the patio. My mom had a large waterfall pool surrounded by illuminated tiki lights. I sat in one of the lounge chairs by the hot tub and began to dial Nash's number.

"Hey!" he said excitedly. "I thought you'd never call."

"Hi, I'm so sorry! The day kind of got away from me." I said.

"Well it's all worth it now because you remembered." He said.

"When can I see you?" I asked.

"Text me your moms address and I'll pick you up in 30" he said.

"Okay where's Hayes?" I asked.

"He's texting Emma in his room we were watching tv when he got a message from her like 20 seconds ago. I think my mom is dropping them off somewhere later."

"Awww good for her!" I said. "Well I'm going to go get ready. I'll text you the address and see you in a few."

"Okay can't wait." he replied. I hung up and blushed like an idiot. I ran upstairs to my room and my mom was unpacking my clothes and putting them in drawers.

"I can explain" I said.

"No need, Emma told me all about your little boyfriend." She replied.

"MOM! He's not my boyfriend! But he is coming to pick me up at 8:30 so I need to get ready!" I yelled half laughing.

Her eyes widened and she ran out of my room and into her room. Once she left I texted Nash my moms address. I started shoveling through clothes that my mom just folded for me. What would I wear?!

I picked out my faded ripped capris from Abercrombie and a white lace tank top with white flip flops.

I brushed out my hair and put it in a high pony tail. My hair was somewhat long so it reached the top of my boob even pulled up. I put on some light makeup and walked downstairs. Emma's door was open and her lights were off so I'm guessing she already left with Hayes. As I was coming down the stairs there was a knock on the door. My heart pounded in my chest. Why was I so nervous? I mean it's just Nash. I walked to the door and took a deep breath. As I exhaled I opened the door and there was Nash smiling.

"Hey!" I said.

"Hi, wow you look beautiful" he said back.

"Aw thanks you're not so bad yourself" I said jokingly. He laughed and put out his hand and grabbed mine.

"Ready?" he asked.

"Ready."
