It has taken me a ridiculously long time to write this, but it's over 1000 words, so I hope it was worth the wait. Enjoy my petals! ❤️❤️❤️

Morgana was sitting in the dining hall, staring down the length of the table, her half brother droning on about army tactics. She wasn't really sure why she had to be here. Sure, she was a fighter, and bloody good with a sword, but Arthur would never allow her to fight along side him. She picked up an apple from the fruit bowl, and started to toss it up and down. This was the third time she'd found herself in the main hall bored out of her brain. Gaius had finally given her a clean bill of health, and she was now free to roam around the castle. The only downside to no longer sleeping in the physician's courters; not being greeted by his charming ward every morning. Said boy was sat next to Arthur, as he was now his advisor, and no longer to stand a few yards away, waiting on Arthur hand and foot. He'd been stealing glances at her whenever he thought she wasn't looking, and she did the same. She admired his gorgeous physique, his lanky build, his sharp cheekbones, his predominant ears, and crystal blue eyes. As much as she hated these meetings, the view was worth it. Merlin caught her gaze, causing a blush to rush on to her cheeks. He grinned, and winked at her, only encouraging her blush. She fluttered her eyelashes, and looked down at her lap. Arthur finally dismissed his Knights after what felt like an eternity. Morgana rose from her chair, subtly beckoned for Merlin to follow her, and left the room. She stood in one of the alcoves in the hallway, her heart rate speeding up. She heard Merlin's footsteps some moments later.
"What's wrong?" He asked, his eyebrows creasing in concern.
"Nothing. I just wanted to remind myself of how cute you are."
She placed a quick kiss on his cheek, then marched back down the corridor to her room, leaving the confused warlock to stare after her. Morgana was much like herself before she found out she had magic. Kind, headstrong, funny, sarcastic, and very caring. Merlin of course, had only been her friend, so the way she behaved towards him now was very different. He couldn't deny that he enjoyed it.

Morgana had been waltzing down the halls when she bumped into the queen.
"Oh, Gwen."
"Morgana. It's nice to see you around the castle." Her friend charmed, placing a hand on her shoulder.
Morgana reached up, and clasped her hand.
"I've missed you." The witch said, her green eyes staring into Gwen's chocolate ones.
Gwen had been informed on what exactly had happened to Morgana, and she knew very well how she acted when she was lying. This was different. She was sincere.
"I missed you too." Gwen said, thinking to herself that she'd missed the old Morgana; before she went to the Druids; the one standing in front of her now. She pulled the taller girl into a tight hug, which she reciprocated after the initial surprise had warn off. She had her friend back, and she couldn't be happier.

"Merlin? Are you listening to me?" Arthur asked, slapping is hand down on the table in front of the dark haired boy.
"Yes, sire. Course I am."
"Then what did I say?"
"That I'm an idiot?"
"No. Although I do understand why you'd think that..." The young king said, a smile creeping onto his face.
"What were you thinking about that had you so distracted?"
Well he was in a pickle now. He couldn't very well say he was thinking about Arthur's sister; her long, dark hair; her bright, red lips; her gorgeous curves...
"Merlin!"
"Sorry sire."
"Whatever it is you're thinking about; knock it off." Arthur said, slapping Merlin light heartedly on the shoulder.
The meeker boy still winced, and cupped his shoulder. Morgana's kiss had sent his thoughts all over the place. From fantasising over how soft her lips were; down to to the gutter, and all the things he would do to her-
He stopped himself from thinking about that, especially while Arthur was in the room. He shook his head as if to clear his thoughts. He felt a warm blush spreading to his cheeks. He picked up the quill pen in front of him, and signed the scroll Arthur handed him.
"Anything else, Sire?" He asked, twiddling the pen twixt his fingers.
"I can't think of anything else."
Merlin went to get up.
"Hang on. Give me a minute to think of something."
Merlin rolled his eyes, and dropped back into the chair.
"I'm just messing with you. Your services are no longer required this evening."
Again, Merlin went to leave.
"Wait."
"Oh seriously, Arthur." He sighed, turning to face his best friend.
"Take these to the Lady Morgana, would you?"
"Of course." Merlin said a little to eagerly.
Arthur glanced at him quizzically for a moment; he shrugged, and went behind a screen. He pulled out a bunch of violets.
"A little delayed welcome gift." He explained.
Merlin took them, and left for Morgana's chambers.
He tapped on the door, and on the third knock, Morgana opened it.
"Merlin. You got me flowers?" She asks.
"No. Yes. I didn't, but they are for you. Heck, you don't know who they're from. Yes, they're from me." He said grinning. The dark haired beauty before him grinned back at him.
"Who are they actually from?"
She said, walking away from the door, and placing the flowers in a vase. After noticing his hesitation, she beckoned him inside.
"I'm not going to bite you. Unless you ask me to." She winks.
Merlin blushes, and looks at her with a surprised expression. She snaps her jaws at him, causing him to jump back.
"You're too easy, Merlin!" She shrieks; giggling.
Merlin frowns. His eyes turn gold, and the flowers rise from the vase. Morgana's eyes follow them as the purple flowers move towards her. Merlin carefully guides the flowers to intertwine their way into Morgana's ebony locks. She smiles to herself, her cheeks reddening.
"You look beautiful."
"Why thank you." She smirks, placing a hand under her chin, and batting her eyelashes at the warlock.
"Arthur has dismissed me for the evening. Would you like to accompany me on a walk?"
"Don't you think people will find it a tad suspicious?"
"If anyone asks, we'll say I was teaching you how to make animals out of water."
"You won't be lying, as I now want you to teach me how to do that." She said chuckling.
She grabbed his arm, and lead him out into the hall. She was completely oblivious to how she effected him, and he would make sure she never did.
