Hey before I start this story I just want to say sorry about the way I'm posting them, I know I should have put them all in one book but I didn't know how to do that until my 5 book, they are all numbered that way it's not to much confusion but I do regret posting them the way I am, I cant really fix it cuz I don't know how so if anyone knows how I can make it easier please comment on this story or message me on here, please and thank you.
Kathy walked over to Elliot and started kissing him.
Elliot didn't know what to do so he just stood there kissing her back.
Kathy wrapped her arms around him and kissed deeper
Elliot pulled away
"No, Kathy we cant do this" Elliot said
"Yes we can Elliot, I love you and I know you still love me" Kathy said
"Kathy, I love you because you were my wife and your the mother of my kids but I'm not IN love with you anymore, I'm in love with Olivia now" Elliot said looking at Kathy
"Her? really, come on you could do so much better" Kathy said laughing a little
"don't talk about her like that you don't even know her" Elliot said
"Elliot, come on I've known her as long as you have, how many times have you seen her go through guys?" Kathy said
"those guys were wrong for her, I love her and she loves me, you need to go" Elliot said
"No hear me out, what kind of relationship are you going to have? I mean you work together so it's gonna be weird and your captain isn't going to like it at all, you wont be able to have sex with her cuz she's tariffed of everything sh-" Kathy said but then got cut off by Elliot
"She's not tarified!, she's been through a lot, and it's not about Sex with her Kathy, if she told me she never wanted to have sex then I'd be fine with that, I just want to be with her" Elliot said
"She's a stuck up - know it all - winy bitch, she's not what you need Elliot" Kathy said
"what happen to you? you were friends with Olivia, she was there with you when Eil was born" Elliot said looking at her
"what happen to me? you happened Elliot! you ruined me, you were never home, you were always at work y-, oh my god...you were sleeping with her while we were married weren't you" Kathy said
"No Kathy I never cheated on you while we were married, Olivia and I started this a few months ago, you and I have been divorced for over a year, please leave" Elliot said as he opened the door.
When Elliot opened the door he was still looking at Kathy and didn't see that Olivia was standing in the hall outside of his apartment.
"Wow" Kathy said as she grabbed her coat and walked past Elliot and Olivia and left.
"Liv.."Elliot said looking at her
"Hey, I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to interrupt" Olivia said
"No it's fine really, she was leaving, come in" Elliot said as he shut the door behind her
"you know how you asked if I wanted you to stay?" Olivia said looking at him
"Yeah?" Elliot said
"Is that offer still on the table?" Olivia said looking down
"Oh course, d-do you want to just stay here?" Elliot said
"Yeah, if that's okay" Olivia said putting her jacket on the couch
"yes it's fine, come here" Elliot said as he pulled her in to a hug
"I didn't think I would be this sad about my mom, I said goodbye to her a long time ago and I knew this day would come but...I don't know" Olivia said as she leaned her head against Elliot's shoulder
"it's okay, do you want something to drink?" Elliot said walking to the kitchen
"No, I'm okay right now" Olivia said sitting on the couch
Elliot got a beer and sat on the couch beside her
"what was Kathy here about?" Olivia Said
"oh um she- she just wanted to talk" Elliot said
Olivia smiled a little as she rubbed her finger against Elliot's next where Kathy left a mark of her lipstick, Olivia held her hand up and smiled a little
"Oh um, I can explain that" Elliot said
"You don't have to El, it's fine" Olivia said looking back at the TV
"Nothing happened, she came over and she was wanting to get back together and she started kissing my neck and I told her to leave" Elliot said
"El, we both said we were going to wing it and that we weren't together, it's fine, you can date and kiss whoever you want" Olivia said smiling
"But I don't want to date anyone or kiss anyone...I want to be with you" Elliot said turning to the side and looking at her
"El, we cant" Olivia said
"Please, Liv, give me one good reason why we cant be together" Elliot said
"El, I don't want to do this right now" Olivia said
"Give me one good reason Liv" Elliot said
"Becaues of that boy! El!" Olivia yelled
"what boy?" Elliot said
"The boy that died a few years ago when you stopped to check if I was okay..." Olivia said looking down
"what?" Elliot said looking at her
"You were so close to getting the boy and you stopped when you saw me on the ground, I told you I was fine but by the time you looked away from me the boy was gone and was stabbed" Olivia said
"Liv..t-that was years ago" Elliot said
"you had feelings for me back then...you stopped to check on me then, you'll stop and check on me now, it's not safe for the victims" Olivia said
Elliot didn't know what to say he just sighed
Olivia started thinking and relized all of this was a mistake
"El-Elliot, we cant do this, to many things could go wrong if we get closer than we already are, and we cant just get new partners and neaither of us want to quit, we cant be together" Olivia said
"But Liv.." Elliot said
"No, we're risking our jobs and victims, we cant do this" Olivia stand standing up
"Our Jobs?" Elliot said looking up at her
"Do you know how much shit we'll get from IAB if we start dating?" Olivia said grabbing her jacket
"Liv okay, look I understand why we shouldn't be together but that doesn't change the fact that I would die for you, I would risk my life and my job for you" Elliot said standing up and grabbing Olivia's hands
"Elliot stop, okay please, I'm gonna tell Cragen I need a few weeks off, I really need to think about a lot of things" Olivia said as she pulled her hands back and walks over to the door
"Please don't do this Liv" Elliot said
Olivia didn't say anything else she just walked out and went home.
3 weeks have past and Olivia hasn't been to work or talked to anyone from the team beside Casey and Alex.
Elliot's been going crazy not having his best friend at work with him.
Elliot was sitting at his desk when walked in and went and sat her desk.
Elliot looked up at her and smiled
"you cut your hair" Elliot said
"Yeah, I was feeling bored one night so I decided to cut my hair" Olivia said smiling a little
"how are you?" Elliot said
"Im good..you?" Olivia said messing with some papers
"I'm alright" Elliot said
"good" Olivia said as she started doing some paper work
