I trace my lips with the dark red lipstick. Smacking my lips together I look over myself. 'Not bad mom', I think to myself as I look at myself in the dress my mother picked. I am wearing a short red dress. The skirt flares to just above my knees and tope hangs my waist with a v neck line. I matched the dress with a pair of red heels and to compliment my pale skin I let my dark hair fall down around my shoulders.

All I hear is my heels on the steps as I walk down the stairs. When I come into view of the living room all eyes are on me. They all stop what they are talking about and Jerry shoots to his feet and gulps.

"You look..."

My mom stands and finishes Jerry's sentence, "Stunning."

I blush and looked down uncomfortable with all attention on me.

"Come! Lets take photos!"

Here we go. We stand for the million of photos that our moms took and I gotta say Jerry was very patience.

"Ok Jerry now pick her up and swing her around." My said with her camera ready.

"Enough!" I was finally done with all the photos.

"Oh your such a party popper Britan." my mom said, "I need to go get your tickets before you go."

Jerry's mom also went to get something which left me and Jerry alone. We stand there in silent for a second before Jerry jumps to taking a box out out of his coat.

" I almost forgot." He says as he hands me the small box.

I stare at the box in confusion.

" I thought a Corsage was too clique." He states at my confusion.

He got me a gift? I open the box to see a delicate silver bracelet with flower detail all around it and few blue gems to give color.

"It's beautiful," i say with sincerity, "Thank you." I defiantly was not expecting a gift.

"Here let me put it on." He gently takes my wrist, "I thought I would get silver since it goes with everything."

" A guy who knows fashion, I'm impressed." I joke. "I love it, thank you."

I look up into his gaze and we stay like that until my mother comes back. Guess it's time to go.
