Sorry that I restarted this story. It sucked.
Beep! Beep! Beep! I wake up to my alarm clock and quickly react by slamming the top of the clock until it turns off. Fuck. Today I have to go to "hell" or some people refer to it as school. It is the first day back for this year and honestly, if it wasn't for Josh and Tyler I would've dropped out of the torcher filled place by now.
I slip out of my bed and throw on a pair of black leggings, a white tank top and a light gray, baggy sweater. Along with my outfit that actually screams I am trash, I put on black combat boots. After I put on my outfit, I grab my phone and check my notifications. Nothing is too important so I turn my phone off and keep it in my hands as I go downstairs.
I decide to eat some toast for breakfast and drink a glass of orange juice along with it. After eating I check my phone for the time and see that it is 6:25 am which gives me 5 minutes to get to the bus stop so, I walk to the living room, grab my backpack and walk toward my house's front door.
As I reach the front door of my house, I unzip a tiny pocket of my backpack and I slip my phone inside of the pocket before rezipping the zipper shut. After my phone is tucked away, I walk out of my house and head toward the bus stop. As I walk, I see Josh in a white Chevy truck. He is parked in front of the house of our old friend, Morgan Adams.
"Hey, Y/N!" Josh calls me over.
"Hey Josh! Nice ride you have here." I greet him and decide to start a small conversation.
"Thanks. I got it with my summer job saving." He responds.
"I'm sorry that I was busy this summer, Josh." I apologize.
"It's fine. I understand that you had an eager family issue." He responds calmly.
"Why are you in front of Morgan's house?" I ask.
"We became a thing while Tyler and you were away this summer." He tells me.
"Congrats!" I say.
"Thanks, Y/N." Josh responds.
"Well, I have to get to the bus stop." I say. "See you at school. It was good catching up."
"Yeah, see you later." Josh tells me.
As I continue to walk to the bus stop I pray for something, anything to hurt me to make an excuse to not go to the school. When I make it to the bus stop and nothing has hurt me, I sigh. Tyler notices and waves so I head over to him.
"Hey." Tyler says.
"Hello." I respond.
"How was summer?" He asks.
I shrug. "Okay, I guess. What about your summer?"
"It was good." He says which marks the end of our conversation because the bus got to the stop.
On the bus, we were both very quiet. We didn't talk at all. Our only interaction was when Tyler gave me his left ear bud and I put it in and we listened to his music together. That was all we did.
When we got to the school, we went to his locker first and he put his backpack inside the locker and grabbed a pencil and a notebook for his first class, art. After he was done we started walking to my locker, half way across the eleventh grade hall.
When we were halfway to my locker, there was a giant crowd of people. He looked at me and then my hand before quickly grabbing it and bringing me down the rest of the hallway. When we got to the end of the hallway, I opened my locker and put my backpack inside. I grabbed a pencil, a notebook and my science book because my first period was science. After grabbing my stuff and slamming my locker, We go through the crowd again, holding hands, and then letting go to get to our separate classes.
I look around the classroom to see a bunch of annoying teens and Josh. He is in the back corner, by the window. I walk over and sit down at the desk next to the one he had made the choice to sit at.
Okay, there is the new and inproved first chapter. Haha no, its not really too improved but it still definitely sucks cause I am the worst writer ever. Okay, yeah, I'm done here. Byee!!! ~Emily
