I woke up, the sun shining in my face. ' Couldn't make it a TEENSY bit dimmer, could you have?' I thought. Ugh. I got dressed and went downstairs. "Good morning Layla. How did you sleep?" my mom said. "Fine, I guess. However, I woke of to the sun BLINDING me." I complained. I ate in silence and went upstairs to brush my teeth. I hated Mondays. My mom called me and told me to go get in the car. I grabbed my backpack, got a swig of Gatorade, and climbed in the shotgun seat. We rode in silence. I was always really awkward with my mom. I was better with my friends. We pulled into the car loop and I got out. "Bye mom." I said and ran to the front doors of the school and went in. My friends were all waiting for me. "Late again." said Elsa sarcastically. She is the sarcasm QUEEN. No joke. "Nothing new." "Sorry. I woke up late again." I said. "It's ok. We all do it right?" Livy said. Silence. "Whatever." Livy said. I pointed a my watch less wrist. "Time to get to first..." Suddenly the intercom boomed out. "Will Layla Parkinson, Elsa Dungel, And Livy Dungel please come to the office. Aw. Crap.
