I am so so sooo sorry! I haven't updated for like a long time!:( I was really busy with cross country and moving! I'm sorry! Well here is the chapter!:)
Recap: "Well let's hear your newest song!" Zayn says. "Ummm ok?" I say more like a question. When I finish the song, they boys and girl are staring at me like I'm an alien. "Well what do you think?" I ask...
Louis POV
"It was good" Zayn says.
"I liked it" Niall says.
"I really loved it Hadley" Liam says.
"It was really good." Harry says.
"Hadley can I talk to the boys outside for a minute?" I ask Hadley.
"sure" she responds.
I felt like the boys didn't show any emotion whatsoever. I know she tried really hard on that song, and she is amazing. I do not want her to think we think she is bad because she is not, not one bit. She is honestly amazing.
"guys, why did you say that stuff in a mean way? She worked really hard on that." I say to them all with anger hanging on every word.
"Lou were sorry. She is an amazing singer, I mean look who her big brother is for Christ's sake! We were all just taken a bit back, by the sadness of the song, and the way she sang it. With all that emotion, it was amazing. We didn't try and sound rude, we know she tries really hard on it, trust me it shows. We are sorry" Liam explained.
"Yeah you're right. I was a bit taken back too in all honesty. I am sorry lads. You know how overprotective I am of her" I say trailing off at the end. They all nod in agreement.
"well what are we doing today? Should we ask Hadley, Dani, Perrie, and El what they want to do?" Niall asks trying to change the subject, which I am thankful for.
We walk back into Hadley's room, she is cleaning up her guitar and journal. When she hears us walk in she turns around and gives us a slight smile. I sit down on her bed, the only furniture she has in her room so far. "What do you want to do today Hads? We have to register you for school, but that will not take long. Maybe an hour or two at max" I explain.
"Can we go shopping? If I am starting a new school I want some new clothes..." She explains. Everyone nods in agreement.
"So it's settled! "I practically yell taking everyone a little bit aback. Hey, it all can't be serious can it?
"I will go call the school and see when your appointment is today" I explain as I walk out of the room.
"Hello, this is Cherry Hope academy, Mrs. Clark speaking how may I help you?" The secretary asks.
"Hello Mrs. Clark, this is Louis Tomlinson. I am calling to see when Hadley Tomlinson's appointment is today." I say nicely.
"Hi Mr. Tomlinson. Hadley's appointment is at 11:45 today."
"Thank you." I say
"Is there anything else I can help you with?" she asks sweetly.
"Actually yes, do you know how long the appointment will be roughly?" I ask.
"Well Hadley needs a tour and registration and usually registration takes about 45 minutes-1 hour. The tour will take about 45 minutes. So I will guess it will take around 2 hours." she says.
"Ok thank you." I say
"You're welcome. We will see you soon! Bye." She says and hangs up.
"Goodbye" I say hanging up the phone and slipping in into my pocket.
"Well what's the deal?" Niall asks impatiently.
"Hadley needs to get registered and get a tour around the school and the secretary said it will take about 2 hours." I repeat the information that Mrs. Clark gave me to the people waiting for it around me.
"2 hours?" The boys yell.
"yep" I say going over and sitting on Hadley's couch.
"Well when is Hadley's appointment?" El asks.
"It starts at 11:45, and the drive is around 20 minutes." I look over at the clock and see it is already almost 11.
Hadley's POV
Lou tells us to go get ready because apparently we got off topic and took almost half an hour to eat and sing.
"Ellie can you stay with me?" I ask Eleanor.
"what did you want to talk about hun?" she asks me.
"I am scared to go to a new school. What if the kids think I am weird because of my past? That is what happened at my old school." I say.
"Lee they will love you. Just be your happy bubbly self and they will. Just remember, if you do not want to tell anyone too much details then you do not have to, no matter what anyone says" She says kissing my forehead. I lean in and give her a big hug.
"Thank you Ellie." I say. She smiles at me and walks out of my room leaving me to get ready. Today it is really freaking cold so I decide on wearing my maroon skinny jeans and a white knitted chunky sweater. I threw on a matching maroon scarf in case I get cold. I grabbed my stone colored booties and a pair of socks. I threw everything on and put my hair into a high ponytail. I grabbed my phone and walked out of my room.
Eleanor's POV
"Is everyone ready?" I ask as I see Hadley walking down the stairs. Everyone nods and we walk out and get into the car. Niall Harry and Hadley go into the way back, Liam Dani and Zayn are in the middle, and I sat passenger as Lou drove. Perrie wanted to come but she had a Little Mix meeting at 12 so she left to go and meet up with the girls beforehand.
"El?" Louis asks.
"Yeah?"
"what did you and Hadley talk about?" he asks, seeming very concerned.
"she was just asking about school and if people would like her because of her past." I told him.
"Why would she be concerned about that?" Louis asked.
"Because in her old school people wouldn't talk to her because of her scars, and make fun of her for it." I explained to him. I thought he knew all of this.
"When did she tell you that?" Louis asks.
"This morning" I say.
"okay" he sighs. I can tell he is hurt. He does not like it when Hadley is hurting. It kills him
1 hour later
Hadley's POV
"we are here" Ellie says.
"okay" I say getting out of the car and taking Louis hand in mine. We walk into the school and go into the office as instructed. We go into the office and I sit in one of the chairs. Soon after El comes and picks me up and puts me on her lap. I snuggle into her chest while she plays with my hair. I know I am 11 but I am a baby sometimes. I like to be held! Louis comes over with papers for him and Ellie to sign. I have to get off of her lap so I go and sit on Harry's lap.
"who are the legal guardians?" some lady with glasses asks.
"me and her" Louis says.
"what are your names?" she asks
"Louis Tomlinson and Eleanor Calder." Louis responds.
We get the paperwork done and I take a tour of the school. First we stop by my classroom. Then we go to the gym, then the cafeteria, then music, then art, and finally my study hall I am put in because I have dyslexia. Finally after what feels like FOREVER we are able to leave. We go to the closest mall and El and Dani take me into almost every store and we buy so much while the boys go off and do their own things.
