That night, Kongpob couldn't sleep at all. It was already midnight and his boyfriend, Arthit, had not called him back yet nor replied his messages.
What if... his P'Arthit decided not to tell his parents? Or, what if his parents' didn't accept their relationship? Of course, if that was the case, Kongpob and Arthit should try harder to convince Arthit's parents'. No worries for Kongpob. His brain already had an idea to resolve the worst possibility.
BUT! What if his P'Arthit gave up just like that?
Kongpob got out from his room. He needed to drink water and calm himself down. He found his mother was still watching korean drama from dvd with his father who had been fallen asleep since unknown time on the sofa.
"You're still awake." His mother said. No surprised tone from his voice. "I win!"
The last words his mother let out, made Kongpob dazed. "Win?"
"Well... come here!"
Without explaining, his mother called him to be closer and took a selfie. After that, she giggled. "You turned off the lamp at 10 and your father said that you might be able to sleep soundlessly since everything went so well tonight. I said to him that you wouldn't be able to sleep because your boyfriend hadn't called you yet."
"HOW DID YOU KNOW?" Kongpob's eyes looked like almost jumped out of their place.
"Oh, am I right?"
Kongpob shook his head, "I don't know, Mom.. maybe, his parents—"
"You need to sleep." His mother cut his words off. "Sleep, so that you could wake up early and visit him in the morning."
Kongpob was speechless. Right. His mother was so right. He should do something, and his mother's idea should be the best he could try in this situation.
"Tha..."
"Tha?" His mother repeated his son's who was still stunned in his position.
"Tha... I mean, thank you, Mom."
Kongpob turned his back. He didn't even take a chance to have some water. He left his mother in the living room and back into his bedroom.
He wrote "I will go to your house tomorrow." and sent it to Arthit.
Kongpob was supposed to be a bit relieved, yet he wasn't. He couldn't sleep at all. He rolled ovet the bed and and checked his phone over and over.
After one and a half hour, his phone finally rang.
"Come to my house at 11 am. I'll be waiting for you."
A smile rose from Kongpob's face after reading the reply. He sent a message to confirm his visit tomorrow and slept well.
At 11 am...
A man in a neat black shirt and a pair of jeans was standing in front of a house. His boyfriend's house. He was not sure about what he was doing because it seems like everything was fine now. Still, his boyfriend asked him to come. So, here Kongpob was!
No. Kongpob didn't have enough courage yet to ring the bell, until a car came out from the garage gate. He saw a driver and a man sat behind the driver. That man stared at Kongpob for a while and tapped the driver's shoulder. It seemed like the man asked him to stop the car, because the car did stop after that scene.
The car parked not too far from Kongpob. Kongpob frowned, but in the next second, Kongpob was busy with his own mind about ringing the door bell.
His attention was distracted with the car's backward movement. It came closer to Kongpob and stopped again. The window moved down and the man who was sitting on the back seat, pulled his head out.
