The Job

You were sitting on the couch watching F/S (favorite show). Your mom and dad were talking about something you didn't care about and occasionally mentioned you. Your mom then turned to face you and said "Y/N you need to get a job. Your father and I have been talking about it and we have decided it is time for you to get a job". You groaned. You really did not want to get a job. Your dad then gave you a newspaper. You looked through it just to make them happy. You then noticed that your favorite childhood pizza, Circus Baby's Pizza World, was hiring. You then thought about your favorite animatronic there. His name was Ennard. You swear that his magic tricks were awesome witchcraft because of one cool moment you had. (Flashback) You were sitting down watching Ennard's show. He then asked for a volunteer for his trick. You raised your hand as high as you possibly could. You knew you wouldn't get picked but you did it anyways. He then looked at you and said "How about the little girl in the F/C shirt over there" while pointing at you. Your eyes lit up as you ran up to him. He led you into a box, closed it, and put a blanket on it. He then started to say some weird magic words and stuff. You felt like you were changing. When he took away the blanket and opened the door, out popped a F/A (favorite animal). All the kids gasped as the F/A was not harming anybody. You looked at yourself and made a happy F/A noise. Ennard then told you to go back into the box. He closed it, and covered it up again. When the box opened, you were a normal human being. Ennard then walked up to you and said "How was it being a(n) F/A?" you beamed back at him and said "It was amazing! Did you know that was also my favorite animal?" He shook his head and said "No I didn't, I just thought you were the type of child to like a(n) F/A. By the way, what is your name?" You laughed delightfully and said "I am Y/N! I love your acts! I hope you never get shut down!" and you hugged him. He laughed and said "Well Y/N, what is your favorite color? I have a gift for you" You gasped and said "F/C! My favorite color is F/C! And my second favorite color is S/F/C!" Ennard laughed and grabbed a party hat that was F/C with S/F/C stripes on it. You squealed and put it on. You then said "Thank you for the hat Ennard. Thank you for turning me into a F/A as well" Ennard closed his eyes happily to show a smile and said "You're welcome Y/N! Hope I get to see you some other time!" You then ran off to show your parents. You were still baffled how an animatronic could turn you into a F/A, but you loved it. (Flashback Over) You then yelled to your parents, since they had left the room "I'm going to get a job at Circus Baby's Pizza World! You know, the place where that one animatronic turned me into a F/A! I'm going to be using my car, I will be back in about 30 minutes!" Your dad yelled an okay and you went outside, got in your F/C car, and drove over to the pizzeria. When you arrived, you noticed how it hadn't changed a bit since you last went. You went inside and talked to the manager, who was supervising the animatronics. He looked at you when you spoke to him. You had said "Excuse me sir. Are you the manager?" he nodded and said kindly "Yes, what do you want?" I took out the newspaper and showed him the article "I would like to get the job here, my name is Y/N" he nodded and shook your hand. He then said warmly "It would be a pleasure to have you here Y/N. I am William. I an going to let you know now that I am not just the manager, but also creator of this establishment." You gasped and said "You're William? As in William Afton, the creator of Circus Baby's Pizza World?" he laughed and nodded "Yes I am. You are lucky because you have gotten the last spot available. You have the night shift. Nobody seems to want to take it. Will you still accept the job?" You nodded and said "Yes sir. I would love working the night shift. I like staying up late anyways" He nodded and led you to the elevator "This is the maintenance elevator. The night shift always checks on the animatronics to make sure they are in proper working order. Your times will always vary but you start your shift at 12 AM" You looked at him confused and said "That's it? I don't have to sign any papers or anything?" He shook his head "Nope, all you need to do is take this poster home" He then handed you a rolled up poster. You laughed a bit and said "Thank you sir for your kindness" He smiled and said "No problem Y/N. Please call me William" You nodded and left the building. You looked back at the old place you loved so much as a child and noticed something odd. Ennard wasn't there. You shrugged it off thinking that he was just in another room getting cleaned and repaired for his next act. You then got back into your F/C car and drove home. When you got home, you ran up to your room and hung it up. It was a picture of 4 animatronics. Circus Baby in front, Ballora in a pose a bit off to the left of Baby, Funtime Foxy waving a bit in front of Ballora and a bit next to Baby, and Funtime Freddy waving with Bonbon next to Foxy. You were still concerned of the lack of Ennard, but you ignored it, thinking that maybe certain posters had different animatronics and didn't have others. You checked your watch. It was 4:38 PM. You decided that you should go to bed to get some sleep so that you could stay up all night for your shift. You got into your F/C and S/F/C pajamas and went to bed. You had no idea of the big surprise that lurked and would shatter your soul for a long time.
