After I finished my sandwich my phone starts buzzing crazy. I wonder who it could be? I pick up my plate as I picked up my phone. I looked at the screen to see Tally's photo, and I immediately answered.
"Tally?" Why would she be-Toby! How could I forget about him?
" Isabel, you there?"
"Yeah..sorry, i'm here what's up?"
" What do I do with all these kids? I don't think my dad will be happy bringing home seven children."
" Can you bring them over to my place? I'll watch them."
" You sure? They keep asking about Roy. Anyways I hope he's okay and I'll be their in about twenty minutes. Love ya!"
" Love ya!" I hung up. Looks like their will be six kids spending the night plus a teenager and then theirs Toby. Might as well get everything set up.
I grabbed several blankets, pillows, this air mattress we haven't used for ages and some more blankets. I set up Toby's room where three of them will sleep, then the guest room where the rest of the children will sleep. Roy I think he's gonna be on the couch, along with myself. Different couches remember, not one.

It's almost midnight. All the kids are asleep, they arrived a few hours ago, since Tally got stuck in traffic. Roy has woken up, but he was pretty moody. I'm watching Tiny Houses at the moment when I hear a key being inserted into the front door. It slowly opens and theirs my mother standing their looking slightly tired, but happy even at midnight.
" Honey, what are you doing awake? Why is their a boy sleeping on the couch?" She whispered the last part since he was sleeping.
" Mom, can we talk in the Kitchen?" She smiled, as I got up and we walked into the kitchen. She set her belongings on the counter.
" So what to you need to tell me?" I sat down on one of the tall chairs- struggling if I might add due to my height.
" Um, so that boy sleeping on the couch is Roy. He's a close friend of mine. Toby loves him. So, he's had a seizure today.. um.. and these headaches and he always complains from a headache before he has a seizure. I've also noticed how he's kind of moody and tired afterwards. Do you know what's wrong with him? I want to help him Mom." Her happy smile vanished when I finished.
" Honey. I think I may know what he has, theirs no cure honey. But to find out exactly well have to wait till he wakes up. Let's just keep quiet for now dear. We don't want to scare Roy." I nodded. I headed back to my sleeping area on the couch. My mother went upstairs but said night before reaching the top.
I sighed. Theirs no cure, my mother said. I wonder what it could be. It's killing me! I turned off the television setting an alarm at 6 in the morning. Six hours of sleep, that's good enough.
My eyes closed as I fell into another memory.
I woke up to the smell of smoke. Waking up my parents, seeing my little sister burn alive along with my little brother and my parents. Yelling, screaming, crying. I wish my nightmares could stop. Please. I don't want to keep suffering. Every little detail I remember. I relived it again, and again.
My eyes snapped open. I looked at my phone to see it's only two in the morning. I was covered with sweat, my cheeks wet from crying. I quickly ran upstairs into my room to go shower and clean up. Just another nightmare. I dried my hair afterwards. And headed back down to drink some water- more like chugging it down my sore throat.
I tipped-toed back to the couch only to hear Roy groan and wake up.
" Seeds? What time is it?" Deep breath, he only scared you half to death.
" Two in the morning."
"Shit! I need to get-" He started to get up but I laid a hand on his shoulder.
"Hey you should lay down. You brothers and sister are okay, their upstairs in Toby's room and the guest room." He laid back down.
" What are you doing up at this time."
"Ugh.. water? and I showered?" He laughed.
"Sorry for, you having to see me like that."
" It's okay. How many times have you had a seizure?"
" Over Seventy. In my entire life." Okay that's not normal.
" Sorry.. Over seventy?!" Did I hear him correctly? I don't think so, how could a person have over seventy seizures- that doesn't sound right. Maybe I just heard him wrong- oh glory am I going deaf?! I really need to be checked out.
" Well, I have a secret. Only my close friends know which will make this four people now. I have Epilepsy. Other words a seizure disorder." My mouth dropped, maybe this is what my mom was talking about. Wait that means i'm not deaf! I was getting scared for a second there- ha.. laugh it off Isabel, just laugh it off awkwardly.
"Is their a cure?" Really? Mom said their wasn't and I just ask that? Urgh, I really need to think before speaking.
"No. I hate having this, but I have to live with it." So this is what mom was talking about. Wait didn't I already establish this earlier? Oh my land what is happening to me.
" I'm sorry to hear that. Isn't their a pill that could help or surgery?" He nodded.
"Too risky though." Oh, well that's also true. A yawn escapes my lips before I could stop it.
" Tired?" I nodded.
" Only had two hours of sleep so far." He moved around and got comfortable.
" Then go to sleep.Unless..." I immediately shake my head.
" You have such a dirty mind." I don't even want him to finish that sentence. I still want to keep my innocence thank you very much.
" You can't blame a guy." I slap his foot- because (A) my arm is too small to reach his shoulder, his head or his shin. (B) Were on separate couches which increases the reach for me. Talk about the disadvantages for being Five foot zero.
