Writing is such a strange form of art. There is no physical disassociation like that of paintings and drawings where interpretation remains wholly  subjective but yet there are no boundaries to perception. We're allowed to go deeper because words don't have one singular meaning, at least if we say it doesn't. Writing allows us to overcomplicate the small things in life without having to make us feel we're being excessive or melodramatic when the matter of fact is we know we are. We're able to adapt fiction and make it individual because no one has one way of writing, similarly to how no artist has one way of artistry but writing allows others to escape as well as the writer themselves. Writing is a distinct form of escapism, once you fall, you're trapped into the struggles and the inspirations and the doubts but there aren't any regrets. Because writing highlights a personal journey, through the spite, through the happiness, through the incomprehensible and every single time, it marks a new chapter. And so, both markings on a page are influential, but although I often fall in love with artwork, I can never fall out of love with writing.
