"James! Wake up. It's almost two in the afternoon. You need to get up and get ready for lunch." My best friend Bri yelled from the living room.
I got up out of my bed and hopped in the shower. After doing my hair and putting on clothes I head out in search of something to do. After walking a couple blocks I see a guy inside a coffee shop. He has a mug next to him and a book in his hand. I sat there for a couple minutes before finally walking into the shop. I ordered a hot tea and admired him from a far. I looked down at my phone and noticed I had already been there for a half hour. I noticed I was late for my lunch with my mom and ran out the store before jogging to the restaurant where my annoyed mother stood before smiling when i walked up to the door. I hugged her and apologized for my tardiness before taking a seat. "Hey Jamsey. I missed you so much. How are you and Bri? Have you found yourself a nice guy." I groaned jokingly. "Mom I am fine by myself. And Bri says hi." After ordering our food she randomly says "Your dad says hi and he misses you."
"Well tell Eugene I said hello." I said faking a smile
She looked at her phone and jumped up before saying "I'm sorry to cut this lunch short sweetie but I have to run. Love ya." She kissed my forehead and ran outside before going to her car. I walked back to my apartment before deciding to take a nap. I woke up to my phone ringing. I decided to let it go to voicemail. I soon got a text message. I finally looked at my phone and it was from Bri
B-Where r u? Did you forget about the car??
J- OMG i fell asleep! I am on my way. Sorry?
B- Get your ass here. Hurry!!
I run out the door grabbing my leather jacket and run past the coffee shop and saw that the blonde wasn't there. I kept going thinking about him, wondering what he could be doing. I finally got to the car shop and saw an extremely annoyed Bri. She punched my arm before saying "Dont forget this is your car asshole." So the man came out the dealership and walked up to me before saying "Are you ready to pay and sign the papers?"
I patted my pockets and realized I left my wallet in the house. Quickly thinking I slightly smiled and said "What? No test drive first." I quickly texted Bri and explained to her about my wallet. She face palmed before agreeing to help me. We pulled up around our house and she ran in and grabbed my wallet. Before pulling off she handed it to me and we drove back to the dealership. When we pulled up to the dealership I handed the man my card and signed the papers. No more walking for me. I took my BMW keys and put them with my phone and wallet. I finally managed to fall asleep thinking about the blonde
