*Scarlett's Point Of View*
My best friend was the best friend anyone could have ever asked for.
We had been friends ever since she punched this one kid called Jeremy Mortimer in pre school. He had been teasing one of the other kids for months and finally, Addison Tyler snapped, and punched him right in the nose. It bled for minutes and she acted so innocent when the day care ladies came over to see what had happened. They didn't even suspect that Addi could have done such a thing and punished little Jeremy for lying.
That was the day I decided that she was tough, and was worthy to be my friend.
She had always been the most beautiful girl, but it wasn't until her teenage years when the beauty she had really sparked. She was the most beautiful girl in school, and everyone knew it. Except her. She saw herself as ordinary, nothing special.
She had this natural blonde hair, that was so smooth I could have sworn it was a silk wig.
It was the type of blonde hair that everyone envied because it was so light that it looked bleached, but everyone knew it was all natural. She had the bluest eyes, they were heaven to look into. They were like the sky on a day with no clouds, or the ocean on one of those beaches where the sand is white making the ocean look like a crystal blue. That is how I would describe her eyes. She also had the most amazing eye lashes, they were long and black, giving off the effect that she was permanently wearing mascara, even though she hardly wore it at all.
She had the most perfect body imaginable.
She had naturally tanned skin, I think that was from her fathers side, and the most slender body. She had abs, but not too defined, so all the boys completely drooled over her. But she didn't even notice.
She was perfection and didn't even notice.
Addison was probably the bravest girl I had ever met, and she helped me through absolutely everything. She meant the world to me, and no best friend will ever replace her, or what we had. Because 17 years is hard to replace, but why would I want to replace it.
It was the best 17 years of my life. But now I have to carry on in this world without my best friend. Because Addi would hate me if I gave up now. After everything we went through, she would never forgive me if I just abandoned all hope.
So I keep going. I keep going for her.
And this is Her story.
