At the bottom line, this is a story of friendship at its fragile roots. Miles and Toby never gave up on each other, so don't you dare do too.
As Miles would say; your mistakes don't define you. The first time will always be a mistake and that's okay because we learn from mistakes.
And as Toby would say; you define yourself. Not society nor your parents, but you. If you choose to be like Miles and stay with the rest of society then that's fine because it was your choice but if you're someone like Toby or Makayla and you're quirky and outgoing, don't let other things hold you back. Define yourself.
I hope this story makes you feel inspired and loved like how I felt as I wrote it. I hope you love Miles and Toby as much as I do.
