There was this kid in my street
Who I've never seen before
He used to pass through my house
Always looking at the floor. His jeans were full with holes
His shoes were almost done
His arms were covered in scars
Of a war he never won.And there was I, staring at him
from the window of my bedroom
Trying to see his face
I was curious, I assume. In that moment he looks at me
And his lips opened in a shape of a smile
I couldn't believe what I was seeing
So I stared at him for a while. His eyes were painted green
With a touch of ocean blue
My mind started to imagine
What that kid had been through.Despite of all the bruises
Although he had those scars
His smile was from another world
His eyes were bright as stars. He continued to walk
Without saying goodbye
Because even the mysterious boys
Have their own way of being shy...
