I'm Zona and as of 42 minutes ago, I hate my life. My parents are scientists (or as they like to be called, zoologists), and they decided to go to Antarctica to study penguins in some stupid research center. As you may of guessed, I'm not very happy with them at the moment.
"I think Fordston likes it here." Said my twin sister Lily as she watched here pet pug sit with a group of penguins.Suddenly, we heard a man calling for us. "GIRLS!" He yelled. Lily eagerly rushed to the man and I slowly dragged behind her.
"Hi, I'm George. Would you girls like to see the research center?"
"Sure!" Chirped Lily.
"Yeah, that's fine I guess." I said.
George led us into a old, shabby building. He pushed open the door with a creak and led us inside. A crackling fireplace sat next to a large whiteboard with scientists huddled around it. George moved through the crowd and we followed him down a cold, long hall. He swung open a door and yelled, " WELCOME TO THE BEST SIX MONTHS OF YOUR LIFE!" I looked into the room. "I beg to differ." I said. Lily elbowed me in the stomach. I winced and looked at the small room before us.Two beds sat at the corners of the wall and an overflowing bookshelf sat parallel to them. "Go and get settled in I'm gonna go grab some grub," George instructed. I set down my bag and Lily flopped onto the bed. George closed the door. Click. "CRAP!" I yelled and tried to open the door. Locked. "Nooo!!"
