Chapter FIVE
Unknown P.O.V
I appeared in a modern-day house. What set off the appeal was the giant holes in the walls and floors, the ripped and charred furniture, the blood stains, the broken glass, small fires in random places, a giant black creature and Kyle fighting, and Sia lying on the floor. I pressed my fingers to her nrck to check her pulse. When I felt the steady beat, I stepprd back into the shadows - which was unnecessary, considering I was only here mentally and only transporters would figurr out I was watching, but still.
I turned my gaze from Sia to the creature and Kyle fighting.
Kyle swung a jagged-looking spear and threw a glowing, orange ball at the creature. The thing howled in pain and spit this weird black liquid at him. Kyle ducked just before it hit him and a steaming hole burned in the wall. Kyle hurled a small, shiny sword at the creature and dove again, just missed by the liquid. Kyle hissed and fell to the floor. His black feathered wings were folded as if they were in pain. The tip of his right wing was bent and little holes were dotted in a small section.
Kyle’s eyes brightened to an almost yellowish green color and his hair turned even darker than before to a pitch-pitch black. His muscular arms seemed to double in size and stretch his black tee almost to the breaking point. His hair framed his face and spiked itself. His height nearly doubled and his shirt and blue jeans grew along with him. He looked utterly dangerous.
The creature opened its wide mouth to reveal six circular sets of sharp rock-like teeth. The teeth turned and moved in different directions like a blender. It’s talons clawed at the floor, creating new holes and damaging more furniture, crawling to get to Kyle. It had no legs, but the parts it did have were devilish. The creature and Kyle both looked terrifying.
In Kyle’s hands, appeared dozens of sharp objects, one at a time; and one at a time, he threw them at the creature in a very quick motion. With each hit he got on the creature, it hissed and the spot bubbled wherever it got hit. Its red eye had one black streak in the middle, like a cat’s eyes, except thinner. Kyle threw a small blade at it and black blood squirted out causing the creature to howl furiously at him. Then, it charged. On all four of its arms, it crawled maniacally fast towards Kyle and shot the black liquid from its mouth in many directions. It swung its claws in attempt to scratch Kyle, but he moved to the side quickly and swung his sword, cutting off one of the creature’s right arm’s at its elbow. It hissed dramatically and swung its two left arms, trying to get a hit at Kyle, One missed, but the other managed to deeply cut a gap in his shoulder and a smaller cut in his cheek.
Kyle’s jaw tightened and his hands glowed bright orange-red and flames started licking their way up from his fingertips to his forearms, covering them completely with smoldering fire. The creature slowly backed away from Kyle, still facing him and screeching loudly at him. Kyle smirked and threw a huge glowing ball of bright red fire at the creature, the ball sizzling it and turning it black and ashy. It quivered and screeched one last time before crumbling in giant rocks of ash.
Kyle looked at the thing on the ground and kicked on of the rocks, once, the rock crumbling to dust. After about five seconds of silence, a jarring vibration shot through the house, coming from a giant bright blue oval-shaped orb, another strange creature walking through it. This creature was smaller than Kyle and the currently dead creature but looked disgusting. It had cracks in it’s face, fur traveling everywhere, no eyes, a huge nose with one big nostril, six arms on each side of its body, with sharp points at the elbows, a huge white body with dirt and blood stains, and a big mouth with sharp points for teeth. It turned it’s head to the charred creature on the ground and sniffed, sneered, then turned its head, acknowledging Kyle and its sneer deepened. “Death.” It’s voice reminded me of a nail carving a rock and scraping it roughly.
