Chapter Four: Ice Cream :P

"Hey! (Y/N)! Sit on this table!" called Rin, waving her arms around frantically. It was lunchtime, and (Y/N) had just finished putting food on her tray. She began to walk towards Rin's table, but someone else took the last spot before her.
"I want to sit here," sneered Phoebe, giving (Y/N) an evil smirk. (Y/N) tried not to let it bother her, and she sat at an empty table in the corner of the cafeteria. Rin wrote something on a piece of paper, turned it into a plane, and sent it flying towards (Y/N)'s table. (Y/N) opened it up and read it.
After lunch, come outside of the school. We have free time this afternoon, so we can go get ice cream - without Phoebe!
(Y/N)'s heart was filled with joy. She couldn't believe that Rin, the famous Vocaloid, had just asked her to go get ice cream! Usually, only good friends did this sort of thing. Did this mean that (Y/N) was Rin's friend!!??!!??
After she finished her lunch, (Y/N) went outside of the school. The sun was shining brightly. Rin had picked a good day for ice cream! (Y/N) looked to her left, and saw three other Vocaloids. Rin, Len, and...
Oh god.
KAITO.
"I should have known Kaito would tag along if there was ice cream involved!" (Y/N) whispered to herself as she walked over to the singers. Rin greeted her warmly, which made her feel a bit better. But then...
"You know, (Y/N) has a crush on you, Kaito!" laughed Len. The blue-haired boy looked at (Y/N) and smiled.
"Well, she is kinda cute, so I don't mind if she becomes my girlfriend!" Kaito said. Rin gave Kaito a dirty look.
"Kaito! You know Miku already asked to be your girlfriend! And you said yes as well!" she said angrily. Miku was one of Rin's closest friends, and she would hate it if Miku became heartbroken.
"Kaito's a player. Aren't you?" smirked Len, nudging Kaito. Kaito nodded in agreement, and he and Len high-fived.
"L-Let's just go get ice cream!" said (Y/N), trying to change the subject. Kaito had somehow memorized the way to the nearest ice cream parlor, so everyone followed him. When they finally got there, Len ordered the ice creams - but he only got three cones. There was one Banana Special, one Orange Delight, and one Vanilla And Chocolate Swirl. Rin took the Orange Delight. Len took the Banana Special. Then Kaito gave (Y/N) a huge grin.
"Guess we'll have to share, won't we, cutie?" he said, holding the Vanilla And Chocolate Swirl. He took a lick, and then offered (Y/N) some. She looked in Kaito's dark blue eyes. They were filled with kindness and joy. To his satisfaction, she reluctantly licked the ice cream. She would much rather be sharing with Len, but she didn't want to hurt Kaito's feelings. That evening, when they were back at Music Notes, Kaito waved goodbye. He then came up real close to (Y/N). She could feel her heart thumping against her ribcage, and her face went as red as a tomato. Kaito leaned in. (Y/N) panicked but was too nice to push him away. He brushed his lips against (Y/N)'s. It lasted for about a minute, but it seemed like hours to (Y/N). Then Kaito pulled away. It was over at last.
"See you around, sweetie! Hope we meet up again soon!" he called out to (Y/N), and after that he turned and walked away. (Y/N) had no idea that she was still blushing.
"Are you happy, (Y/N)? That must have been amazing for you!" said Len, giving (Y/N) a sweet smile. (Y/N) merely nodded her head, and then she went back to her dorm. Miyoki was in the music room, playing the piano. Natsuki and Phoebe were already fast asleep. (Y/N) climbed up to the bunk above Phoebe. Len's bed. He had already replaced the school pillow with a different one. It was yellow with a banana print on it. (Y/N) smelt it. The pillow even had a banana scent! By the time (Y/N) stopped smelling the pillow, she was already dreaming. Dreaming of a blonde prince taking her to a castle, and then a blue prince taking her away from him...
