Alexander Hamilton was not like all teens. He wanted an education, to learn. Instead of playing football, he stayed home reading books from his favorite author, Shakespeare. Yep, he definitely wasn't a normal teen. He didn't care for technology that much either.
Alex's room was a mess. Clothes and random textbooks stacked on his bed. He packed messily into a few wide boxes. He always was a last minute person. He checked the slim watch gripped onto his wrist. Three minutes until the uber. He better hurry up.

"Hurry up! It doesn't take this long to get one last item to wear," Angelica shouted from downstairs. She was the eldest of three, her two younger sisters upstairs and taking forever to change. They didn't grow up with a mother in their lives, so Angelica always thought it was her responsibility to take care of them.
"Shut up, I'm coming." Peggy rolled her eyes. She was the youngest, sassy and grumpy. As a child, she always felt like an outsider, wanting to join everyone else. She was still in high school, but with their father away on business, she had to come with. Peggy grabbed her charger, phone already in her overall pocket.
Eliza was still in her room, deciding between two light blue shirts. Eliza was a very humble, quiet person. She was smart, and not at all outgoing. She liked to be kept to herself. Finally picking the one with sleeves, she hurriedly put it on.
"Time to leave this garbage home." A small smirk appeared on Angelica's lips. The town was bland, the same old thing every day. Angelica couldn't find anything pleasing for her. But now she was going to New York, where they had everything.
☆
Aaron Burr was already in the car, halfway to NYU. He was a Burr, always on top of everything. Despite what others say, his parents are alive. Well, only his mom at least. She was always on top of things, making sure she attended everything Aaron did. Aaron was smart, but did not do the things someone like him probably would. He barely read, or did homework, but he always payed attention.
Aaron hit a switch which caused the radio to turn on. Aaron smiled, it was one of his favorite songs. He sang along.

Phillip Hamilton was not the son of Alexander, as some may say. In fact, he was his cousin. He always admired Alexander, how smart he was and how everyone liked him. Phillip always inspired to be like that one day. Until he did, which led him to being accepted to NYU.
☆
Theodosia Burr was a sweet charmer. Her dark brown, curly hair explains it for you. Everyone would've guessed she loved sex or the fact that she had a lover, but she had a secret. She never loved anyone, or had a relationship like that. She was too afraid of getting hurt by anyone to actually love. And as much would claim, she was not related to Aaron Burr in any way. She hadn't even met him.
☆
Thomas was popular, he was the everything guy in his old school. People loved him, ADMIRED him. How would this turn out in a completely new school? He didn't know anyone, and he didn't want people to find out his true self. He was bossy, selfish, and overdramatic. Would that affect him in College? He pondered that through the whole ride there.
☆
John Laurens was the place to be. He was handsome, his freckles complimenting his appearance. Although, he never was really popular. He was always bullied at his school for acted like he was "the shit." That's why John nevered care to go out, causing him to be an introvert. Maybe he would have the opprotunity to become something he never really was.
College appeared in all of the rear view windows. They all knew they were at their next location, which would shape the rest of their lives. Excited? Eh. Hopeful? Yes. Nervous? Definitely YES.
NOTES:
I hope you all enjoyed the first chapter! It was more of an introduction of the characters, but it will help in the near future. I have lots of different plans that I cannot wait to share!
See you next time,
