"Koyu! Focus!"
Koyu, a padawan at The Destiny Temple sat at a desk around other padawans his age, reading a text book (Well.. Scroll actually) about writing destinies. He was a boy around age 12, and he thought it was stupid going through theses scroll and not actually writing destinies.
Koyu looked up at his master, The Master Writer, Nobu. After Fenwick abused being the Master Writer, Nobu was nominated to take his place after Fenwick's certain, *Cough* Death. Nobu looked cross. but any teacher would be if they caught one of their students doodling
"Sorry Master Writer..." Koyu quickly picked up his scroll.
"Sorry Isn't good enough." Nobu pinched the bridge of his nose. "You'll never write destinies if you keep doodling and not studying."
"What the point in studying when we're not WRITING anything?" Koyu whined.
"It's because you're not ready." Nobu sighed. "And your behavior is showing that you're clearly not ready."
"But I want to write a destiny now!" Koyu stood up. "You said that I had talent! One of the very few people in The Cloud Kingdom that could be the Master Writer after YOU!"
"But you'll never be THAT, if you don't do your studying FIRST." Nobu clapped his hands. "Class dismissed."
As Koyu walked through the gardens of the Cloud Kingdom, he looked down The Blind Man's Eye below, watching Ninjago and they people that lived down there act out the destinies written for them. He so badly wanted to begin destiny writing, he knew he could be good if Nobu just let him try. He just had to prove it.
Koyu then looked down again and saw the Ninja. A group very famous to the Cloud Kingdom since their Destinies were written by the first Spinjitzu Master himself. The scroll that held that word was by far the most valuable thing in their universe. And if the ninja ever visited their realm, their lives would be priceless.
Then it hit him. The scroll with the Ninja's destiny was in Nobu's possession. Since he was the Master Writer. If he could get his hands on it and write at least a paragraph that could make a difference, Nobu would know for sure he was ready.
The small padawan then ran to Nobu's office, then hide behind a corner as he watched Nobu leave. Once out of sight Koyu ran to the doors and opened them slowly, revealing the Master Writer's work space and the most valuable of destinies.
In the middle stood a lectern with a scroll on it. Ink and quill to the side. On it were these words:
With the thief running towards the Wailing Peaks with the Sword of Sanctuary, they followed in pursuit hopping for a swift ending to their problem.
Koyu smiled, ideas rushing to his head on what he could do to make that difference. Once one was picked out, he grabbed the quill and began writing.
