Chapter Thirty Two: Witnessing The Lost

Alex's Point of View

Lottie went out like a light and I couldn't work out why. I was panicking slightly since there was no one around to help. Luckily, Snape turned up out of the forest a few minutes later with Harry, Hermione, Ron and Sirius floating behind him on stretchers. I begrudged asking him for help but I had to help Lottie somehow. He looked as panicked when he see Lottie and he was soon to levitate her upright and was having her float behind him as he walked. He told me to follow him and get cleaned up as we walked to the hospital wing. I shrugged it off as it was only a bit of dirt, nothing I'll die from. Snape took everyone up to the hospital wing and began to explain something to Madam Pomfrey, who push me into a chair beside the bed Lottie had landed on before I just spotted Snape walking off with Sirius floating behind and following him.

My mind was then flooded with thoughts of where they were going and what Snape was going to do to Siruis. I wasn't prepared to stay here and do nothing, so I got up. And as I turned away from the hospital wing, preparing myself to follow him, Madam Pomfrey appeared in front of me and pushed me back into the chair, harshly telling me to stay put. I watched as she cleaned up and bandaged everyone else up before she moved onto me. I acted up like a three year old but I didn't want fuss. Harry, Hermione, Ron and Lottie need fuss. After a while, she threw the bandages at me and walked off into her office. I wrapped a small amount around my hand and lied my head on Lottie's bed beside her shoes. Madam Pomfrey put it down to stress and she probably just went into over-load because of everything which I didn't really understand, but then again, I wasn't really listening either. I closed then reopened my eyes as Lottie stirred slightly and exhaled before smiling and then returning to the usual, blank asleep look. I smiled to myself and slowly my eyelids fell shut. Just ten ... minutes ...

"Alex!" I heard someone shout and made a sleepy gasp as my eyes shot opened and I looked up groggily. Lottie was sitting above me and looked slightly worried. I slowly rose up, wiped my eyes and stretched,

"Yeah?" I asked sleepily,

"Where am I?" She asked quietly and the events of the hours before came flooding back, "And what's this scar there for?" She pointed to her cheek and pulled her confused face. I sat up properly and my eyes began to focus more. I cringed when I first see it, but the more I looked at it, the lighter it became,

"That?" I asked and she nodded, her hand falling to her side again, "That ... Well that's ... That's where you fell down the stairs."

"But then again, think I remember what happened though." She said and blinked,

"Why did you ask what it was there for then?" I mumbled and she clearly ignored me,

"There was Lupin and Sirius Black and you, Ron, Hermione, Harry and then Lupin said ... And then ... And we were outside and ... This." I sighed and shook my head,

"It's fine, Lottie. It's light, really light. You'll never tell."

"People will know though won't they?" She said and sounded worried, "They'll know Lupin's my dad, they'll reject me. Fred and George, you, Harry, Hermione, Ron, everyone!" She said nervously and put her palm across her cheek,
