Today, people are committing crimes, drunkedness, pre-martial sex, and fornification. And others may say, "Well, that person will never be saved." Or (unfortunately), "That person is probably going to burn in Hell." But remember, Jehovah gives every person the opportunity to be saved and to repent for their errors. So who are we to judge whether they'll never be saved or think their "too far gone" from Jehovah's reach?
Jehovah doesn't want to destroy anyone, because "he is patient with you" and "does not desire to destroy anyone but desires all to attain to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9) So you can't deny Jehovah's patience for Mankind because the Bible clearly states He doesn't desire to "but desires all to attain to repentance". Jehovah's patience allows many people today to change from their wicked ways and repent for their mistakes. He also allows people to have the opportunity to know Jehovah and His Kindgdom.
If Jehovah was impatient then that would be taking away many of the opportunities that people should have. So us as Christians need to understand the patience that Jehovah is showing, so that we may be patient as Jehovah is patient.
No one on earth is "too far gone". That term means that no one is too far from Jehovah's reach, or it is not impossible to find Jehovah even after the errors you may have committed. Though, you would have to take many steps to findly get into a relationship with Jehovah. Steps to take could be repentance and forgiveness, turning from your old life style, and following God's commandments and principles.
My mother was a Jehovah's Witness when she was very young. She was baptized between age 13-14. When she was age 17, her family slowly started to stop going to meetings and studies. So my mother stopped going for a while. Today, my mother is age 53, and she and I have been going to meetings and studies. My mother is very happy now, and she's realized that Jehovah is patient with His people. My mother had been inactive spiritually for more than 30 years! And now she coming back to the meetings and redeveloping her relationship with Jehovah.
So now you see that even after a long time of being inactive, she was still able to have the opportunity to know Jehovah again. And she not only makes me happy, but makes Jehovah happy.
I hope you, reader, understand Jehovah's patience and that no one is "too far gone".
