My alarm beeped waking me up. I groaned
as the sun flickered into my eyes. After a
few moments I was warmed up to the
lights, so I sat up pulling the white satan
sheets with me. My bangs fell into my
eyes, witch slightly annoyed me.

I softly pushed them back behind my ear,
and slightly rubbed the eye that was
irritated. I softly sighed as I gazed across
my room. The lovely purple carpets had
shadows cast upon them, the lighting in
the room was shadowed by the black, silky
curtains. The green and black wallpaper,
which was stripped, made the room seem
to pop. The few framed posters across them
in neon green and purple were neatly
hanging on the walls. But I can't say that
my Joker like room was perfect, random
clutter was scattered across the floor, as
well as my dark oak desk,  standing grimly
in the corner.

I softly smiled as I stepped out of bed,
fixed the sheets, and headed in to the
bathroom to shower and get ready for the
day.

First off, I brushed my teeth with my purple
toothbrush. Then I started the water, as I
waited for it to heat up.

Turning off the tap, getting wrapped in a
black fluffy towel, and blow-drying my hair,
left me to get in my work attire. As an
intern to Arkam Asylum, I had to wear any
blue jeans, with a blank Tee-shirt. So I
threw on slightly ripped jeggings, with a
dark green Tee-shirt, with a deep V-neck.

After I gathered all my things I gave a final
look in the mirror. I had tattoos
on my lower and iner right arm. I had another
one on my shoulder, it was skull that held a
black rose in it's mouth. I grabbed my keys
and headed out.

--- 45 minutes later----

As I pulled up to the gate a guard checked my license.
Rushing to get out of car, I speed walked to the entrance.
Walking up the stairs, and standing there for a second
I opened a section at the side. I spotted the card
and pulled it out.

But as I stepped forward, I ran into
someone nearly falling. Strong arms
grabbed my shoulders as I steadied
myself and looked at the girl who caught
me.

"Oh, sorry! And, um, thank y-" I said as I
looked up at the girl who held me. I froze
at the sight. Icy blue eyes pierced into my
own green ones. Very, pale skin,
almost pure white. Dark red lips, that I
wasn't sure held lipstick. Black eye
shadow that made the eyes look sunken.
Bright green hair that was falling down her
shoulders. A scared and tattooed face.
And best of all, that devious smirk
that held a charming amount of mischief.
I was being held by the Joker.

"You should really watch where you're
going. Wouldn't want to fall, would ya?" Her
silk-like voice calmly  stated.

It took everything I had not to hug her
right there. For I have a HUGE crush on the
famous, Joker, if that wasn't obvious at all
yet.

I smiled and nodded before saying.

"Yes, and I'm sorry. Um, I was kind of in a
rush and, clumsy me didn't see ya!" I giggled
"But thank you, again, for catching me." I flash
a final smile before trying to get out of her grip.
I stepped back, but she stepped forward. Her

smirk intensifying.

"Now, now, doll. You don't have to be so
clam, don't you know who I am?" She stated
in her cool voice.

I nodded and said.

"You're the Joker..." She nodded and then
almost whispered.

"Then why aren't you afraid, nervous, trying
to run away?" She asked and her smirk stared
to fade.

"Running away would almost surely get
me killed, or at least shot at, and if I
screamed I would probably be silenced. So
why go through the trouble if I am to be
quiet in the end?" I carefully stared at my
feet, hoping she would leave.

Then out of no-where, she burst out
laughing, still with a strong grip on my
shoulder. I couldn't help but giggle along.
I swear, hearing people laugh so addictive.

She then soon stopped and stared at me, I
glanced up at her and then stopped my
giggle, staring into her eyes.

"Hmm... You're laugh is quite adorable.
And yet familiar. Do I know you from
somewhere, doll?" She asked scanning
my face.

I shook my head and looked back at the
ground. She chuckled and let go of my
shoulder.

"Yes, well, you're a fun one. I'm going to let
you go, doll. But don't worry, we will meet
soon enough..." She whispered, the walked
off. I stood there shocked.

' I was let go by the Joker...' I thought as I
grasped the handle to asylum. Then curiosity
flashed through me, as well as worry, and confusion.

'...we will meet soon enough...what did she
mean by that...?'

Was the last thought I had while entering
Arkam.
