Music vibrated through the ground as I walked through the dewy grass, the smell of smoke drafting towards me.

"Hey, babe," a deep voice called out and I started walking faster, keeping my head low, ignoring the man that was off to my right.

"Why don't you come warm me, I'm a bit cold," he called and I heard his friend laugh beside him.

"Leave me alone," I mumbled and reached the barn, shoving the doors open. I could practically feel the music seeping into my bones as I surveyed the tangle of bodies, searching for my little sister.       If it wasn't for her I would not be here right now...

I sighed and felt a hand grasp my elbow then a body grinding up against me. I wriggled in their tight grasp around my hips and cursed, stomping on their foot. I heard them chuckle softly in my ear, letting my go as I slipped past them, not looking back. I reached the bar and a guy with tattoos that curled up his left arm and a piercing in his lip raised his eyebrows at me.

"Hey, sweetheart. Need a drink? You look a bit..." He trailed off, licking his lips.

Oh, puke.

"Have you seen a girl with long brown hair and blue eyes?" I asked him, shifting from my left foot to my right foot.

"No but if I definitely would've remembered you," he said, crossing his arms.

"Thanks," I said absentmindedly, turning to look at a stripper pole with a girl sliding up and down and twirling around it, just wearing a thong and a tight shirt that showed off her belly button that was pierced. Her dark hair trailed behind her and her blue eyes half closed as she moved to the music against the pole.

Double puke.

I pushed my way through the dancing crowd and stared at the stripper for another minute. Her face looked familiar from here.

Oh my god, was that my sister?

I almost choked on air, grabbing a guy for support. He turned to me, his green eyes flecked with gold held mine for a few seconds. Running his fingers through his dark hair he gave me a slow easy smile. My heart thumped loudly.

"S-sorry," I stuttered, turning away quickly.

"No problem," he called after me.

Turning to the stage I practically ran until I was standing at the front. I wanted to strangle her.                Who the hell did she think she was? Oh, right, a stripper.                                                                    People were throwing money up on the small stage and when a older man went to throw a $20 bill when I grabbed his wrist.

"She's just a little girl, pervert. You throw that money and ill break your neck," I hissed. He gave me a weird look and disappeared. I looked around for a set of stairs and spotted some off to the side. I moved towards it and marched over to my little sister.

Little! Not older. She was only 14!

Grabbing her hair I yanked her towards the stairs.

"Ow! Ouch! What are you doing?"

"I would like to ask you that!" I practically snarled, dragging her past a booing crowd.

"Having fun! Unlike you!" She said, pushing me away. I turned to her, anger practically bubbling out of my chest and ears.

"We're going home."

"No, I'm having fun-"

"Stop acting like a whore and listen to me for once!" I yelled. I immediately regretted my words, inwardly cringing as her eyes teared up.
