Before the music starts,
He throws his charming smile to the crowd,
The one that makes my stomach flip, steals my already fast-beating heart.

He turns, it's my turn to begin the show,
He looks ready and charming, hes just like Ive always known
As he comes forward to take my hand,
My sanity bids adíos and takes a bow in my head.

Remember butterflies in the stomach and the feeling on the tips of your finger?
Right now, that is nothing compared to the feelings that within me linger.

Im tensed, I guess this shows on my face
He throws his smile at me, almost like he knows whats going on
Closing my eyes, I stretch my right arm, soon to be followed by the song
He comes from behind, lifts me up,
And it all feels like yesterday, when we were younger and wrong.

The crowds cheer, and its just the starting of the heart race,
You gently place me down, the music is about to take its own pace.

Ive always had a different image of you in my head,
I'm not mentally alive without it,
But the presence is physically dead.

Just like the rushing of my blood,
The music fastens, and then my emotions flow like a flood.
Everything is like a blurr now,
You twist and turn me,
Lift and spin me,
Hold and swirl me,
Lean and faze me,
Dance and amaze me.

You are perfect,
How do I explain this?
I'd do anything to prove this
I wouldn't give a single chance amiss.
It breaks my heart to know I would never see you again,
This is inexpressible, these kind of pain.

I'm lost in my thoughts,
And something unexpected happens,
They always said to expect the unexpected,
But I would never even imagine this,
I missed a foot step, and Im falling..
This is not quick,
I see him coming,
I close my eyes and wait for the fall,

But darling, Fate always has other plans, unknown to all.

To be continued...
