Prologue
You may have heard of the legendary, mythical creature that's rumored to live in the darkest places in Minercaft. He sounds like any other hostile mob, but when he catches you off guard it's another story. Coming face to face with his souless white eyes are more than startling, I should since I've met him. He doesn't have to say anything, yet you'll still know what he wants. As for if you don't listen to him, I might as well tell you now that you're a one-hit kill for him. He even has the power to prevent you from respawning. He just takes over your world, along with everyone elses'.
I was new to my world when I met him. I had only heard legends about him. In my school, he was the scariest person that anyone and everyone knew about. If you were teasing one of the popular kids, he'd say that Herobrine would take your soul. It seems a lot less taunting now, but at the time it was a saying that would send chills up your spine. None of the teachers spoke about him, for we could all tell that they didn't want to misspeak and make him mad. He was a bully's ticket to making kids do what they wanted.
One day after school, I was walking home when I had heard a noise in the forest. I knew that messing with a creeper would be disastirous for a kid my age, but then I noticed that the sound wasn't from a creeper. Unfortunatly, I let my curiousity get the best of me. I slowly went closer into the forest, following the noise as best I could. I was about to give up, but then I heard a loud screech coming from not too far away. Shaking, I walked towards the screech, going deeper into the forest.
Then, I heard a crunch from the ground behind me. I imidiately looked back and saw nothing. Nothing but dead silence. Then, I turned back to face front when I saw him standing right up against me. His dead white eyes were glaring straight into mine. I tried to scream, but he had the power to make me silent. He lifted his arm and gripped my wrist tightly. Then the other hand. I tried to escape, but I knew I wouldn't. Before I knew it, he ran even deeper into the forest at lightning speed, taking me with him. I barely saw it, but I noticed him taking me into a portal unlike the ones we were learning about in school. It teleported us imediately into a new dimension, one I could barely describe. He took me into the biggest castle you could ever dream of. We ran up so many stairs until we were at the very top, which I assumed was his throne room.
He finally stopped his super speed and sat me in a chair on the oposite side of his throne. He buckled me into it so that I definetly couldn't escape. Once he finished, he looked me in my eyes again and just stared as I asked him a simple question.
"Why am I here?! What do you want with me?!"
Then he responded in a voice that felt like a blade in my chest.
"You are my mortal. You shall tell me all you know about your people. You'll never return to your home, only on missions from me. I can only send mortals to not be noticed as easily."
"So I'll never see my friends and family ever again?" I said tearing up.
"I am your new family. Everyone here is.' he responded as I notcied that there were well-blended guards hiding against the walls in all the corners of the room.
