Hello, author here, I just wanted to say this is my first story being put online and I hope you like. I'll keep updating as much as I can.
~SVANNA~
"Svanna Marie! Wake up now Loser, your gonna be late to you new school!" Charlotte, my 14 year old sister yelled. "Alright! Alright! I'll go to another, boring day of another different school" I pull off the blankets and punch my alarm clock. 8:30 a.m. Only 30 minutes til' the bus arrives. Shit. I look in the mirror, "Oh great! I'm a mess!" My eyeliner is everywhere, red and blonde hair is in giant knots, black lipstick from the night before smeared all over my face. Wow. I forgot to take my makeup off. "Mom, Where's my makeup remover?" I yell. No response. Shit.. I run around the room searching through the moving boxes. Found my makeup bin, yes! I scramble to get my makeup off, straighten my hair and do my eyeliner. I throw on a Slipknot tee and a pair of ripped skinny jeans, a few bracelets and my light purple converse. I grab my backpack, my phone and my wallet and race out the door without eating. "I'll eat when I get to school." I watched the bus turn the corner, going farther away from my house. Ugh. I start running. I Don't know anyone so I can't get a ride, running is my best solution. Keep running, don't stop, don't be late on your first day. I run across the street without looking, barely missing getting hit by a car. I raised my hand and yelled "Sorry!!"
~April~
I look in the mirror. Same face. Same hair. Same room. I don't look like my mom or my dad and I definitely don't look like my beautiful sister. Why do I look so different?
"April O'Brian! Get your butt down here!!" My Aunt screamed. "I can't I have to get ready, I'll miss the bus!" I scream-whisper back while straightening my purple hair. Why do I even try with makeup and everything if I don't see much a difference and no matter what I do I still see ugly me? "I'll drive you to school just come on! If you don't come down here I will make you dye your hair to Shit brown, like it used to be" She always used that as the reason why I have to listen to her. Only two more years and I can be out of here. Thank god.I put a black jeweled hoop through my lip and ran down the stairs. "Seriously. It's your ex girlfriend's first day back and your wearing that? Oh come on, your supposed to try to look hot and impress her" My aunt didn't care who I dated but she always gave me advice that never helped me. I did try to look hot, that didn't work so well and I ended up looking like one of those $20 hookers.. I stood in front of her, looking 5 inches taller than her. Thanks to my combat boots. I wore my bloody bat choker, one of my Pierce The Veil tee's, black shorts and skull tights underneath.
My hair covered one brown eye while my bright blue eye was able to be seen. My mother had the same thing, Heterochromia Iridum, where your eyes are two different colors. My mom had looked beautiful that way, but I looked creepy. When I stared at people with both eyes they would get chills and tell me to quit staring. The only trait I got from my parents was that. My sister however, had two green eyes like my dad and brown hair like my mom, she was gorgeous and guys had always followed her around, I don't know if they still do that because I haven't seen her in 4 years. She moved away and would only talk to me over the phone.
"So what do you want?" I whisper. "Well what I want is for you to not take so long and come when you are called. But, what I was trying to tell you is Marcus is going out with his girlfriend tonight. You need to make dinner for just yourself tonight because I won't be here until 10 p.m. Don't invite anyone over. We have to leave NOW." She looked at me, frustrated.
"K" We hop in the pickup truck and drive to my school, Grayford High school. We were a few blocks from the school when a girl with red and blonde hair went running across the street. My aunt slammed on the breaks and my head slammed into the window. 'Ow." I whispered. Aunt Jenny didn't like me being loud so I stayed calm. I rubbed my head and blood came away. "God damn teens getting high before school! Quit doing drugs before school kids! " Aunt Jenny vented. We heard the girl yell "sorry" and then we just kept driving. My aunt not caring that I had a bloody forehead.

I walk calmly to the doors of the school, out of breath. Stay calm. Be cool. I open the door and step in. Immediately, my stomach felt like a swarm of butterflies had taken over and my arms and legs felt like string cheese. People looked my way and whispered. So much for blending in. "Woah, she is way to pretty for the style she is trying to pull of" One girl said. I knew my face had to be red 'cause everyone was staring at me. I stride in, pretending to be confident. A girl with fake fangs and all black clothes ran up to me, "Omg your so pretty!" She screeched. "Th-thanks Hun" I stutter a little from being nervous. But I never stutter otherwise. She was clearly younger than me.
I looked at the numbers on the lockers, searching for 2234. So many lockers. 1204....... 1360... I searched for what seemed like forever. "Need some help?" A girl who clearly had a fake tan and tons of makeup on, who was probably popular asked. "Yes please! I'm looking for 2234. I'm new, the name's Svanna Marie".
"My names Tiffany. You can call me Tiff, that's what my friends call me, if you want to be friends that is. Want to?" We walked slowly up some newer looking, sky blue stairs. "Ya, sounds good. I would love to!" I have been here for 30 minutes and have already made a seemingly nice friend.
