The large clock hand for the minutes struck hard. Caroline woke up on hard stone floor with some eerie vines and moss growing on the side of the wall. She look over at her sides only to find her friend Alyssa. "Alyssa?" She paused then started shaking her shoulder to wake her up.

"Alyssa wake up!" The girl began to shift over to face Caroline as her light brown wavy hair swayed out of her face "Caroline? Where are we?" She asked sleepily, "How am I supposed to know, I woke up just now too."

"Hello my petrified subjects" a dark echoing voice began "I know what you might be thinking right now but, don't be scared, you might just only die. And that's all." Caroline swallowed hard as the first three tiles in front of her and Alyssa started to fall.

"What the-?" Alyssa's voice didn't seemed scared it just sounded...interested. More tiles began to fall from the ceiling and took the place of the fallen floor tiles. The tiles had fallen again and the tiles on the ceiling began to come back.

"There's a pattern." Caroline broke the silence. Alyssa smiled and grunted in a fun way, "Don't you think I caught onto that? Anyway, the floor falls between 10 seconds. Oh! And we can latch onto the vines on the wall if the tiles fall to quickly."

Caroline nodded and paused. Scared, she took a deep breathe and waited for the next set of tiles to come and fall down. She hopped lightly on a tile 2 tiles away from her. The creaky stone square began to lower along with the tiles surrounding the one tile.

Caroline hopped off "Wait..They are all going to fall." She heard Alyssa sigh sarcastically and grunt, "Screw it!" Alyssa jumped hard on the tiles and hooked her self on the vines. The vibes crackled and looked like they were going to snap. "Alyssa!"
