Chapter 57

Joey's P.O.V

I had to sleep out what just happened. When I woke up an hour later, I checked my phone to see a message from Shane. He wrote Went to the park to walk out what happened. If I don't come back before 3:15, don't be worried. I'll be fine. <3 Shane.

Where did he go... I know him way too much. He's not at the park. To me, I take that as a code word for "he's somewhere I wont like". SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT. I called him, but it went straight to voicemail. He turned off his phone. I texted him where did you go Shane?? I waited on the couch for 10 minutes. I patiently waited, no reply. I put a shirt on and grabbed my keys. I got into my car, turned it on, and started it. I checked the time. 3:36. Where did he gooooooooo?

Shane's P.O.V

I finally got to my destination. I turned off my car and I went to unbuckle my seatbelt. My hands were trembling and it was hard to unbuckle it. It was also stuck again, but I tried to helplessly unbuckle it. After countless tries on unbuckling it, I took my pocket knife out. I shoved it on the sides of the buckle on the seatbelt. I was scared I was going to accidentally cut my fingers through my shaky hands. I wiggled the buckle out of the clip and I got out of my car. I locked it then walked to the door. I knocked on the door. A familiar voice hollered who at the door, but I couldn't actually tell which person it was.

Shane: Its Shane

??: Great, just in time

Shane: *sigh* I know

*sigh* Lets get this over with....
