It has been four years since I started working for BigHit and up until I still wonder how a big company like this one could hire a newly graduated girl for a job like mine. True, I spent my high school years studying at one of the best Aesthetic & Cosmetic academy of the country but somehow I just fell lucky they found me and gave me the opportunity to show my talent.
The thing is, I was used to do make up for girls and not for boys and I was shocked when in front of me stood seven handsome boys around my age and was told I would be part of BTS's make up artists' team. But I was assigned only one, the maknae Jungkook. He was only sixteen back then and was too cute for his own good.
"Hi noona," he had greeted me and shook my arm eagerly. I swear that day I almost wanted to draw a star on his forehead instead of putting black eyeliner and stuff. He was just too cute when he called me noona and several times I had to ask him not to, didn't explain why though, it was something personal.
It has been the best four years of my life even though I had to be away from my family and friends, but I wouldn't change a thing. I was where I wanted to be.
"Ya!" Someone called me out, "why are you standing there? We have a lot to do for tonight! Let's move," Zen, another of the make up artists and my best friend scolded me while grabbing my arm and pulled me inside the building.
"I know, I know. You can let go now!" I yelped and she released my hand.
We kept walking towards the dressing room and were welcome by the usual chaos. There was people everywhere, going from one place to another, holding or moving something. Plus the seven, now grown up, boys were being their funny-idiotic selves as usual. I saw Zen approaching Suga who was lying on the floor with his eyes closed while the rest danced and cracked up jokes, how he managed to keep calm and sleep was beyond me.
Resting my canvas bag on top of on table I took out all the supplies I needed to do Jungkook's make up for that night stage."Hi noona," he greeted me shamelessly and I felt my cheeks reacting but managed to keep it cool, "can you make my eyes look bigger?" He asked and sat on the chair.
"Umm, yeah sure." I answered as I read the paper where the concept instructions were written, "I surely can do that." I smiled at him confidently.

"Are you going home?" Zen asked and watched me pack my stuff.
"Yeah, it has been a long day, uh?" I said while massaging the back of my head for a while only to feel someone else's hands resting there gently. "Zen, what-"
I turned around but instead of meeting my friend's face I was greeted by a bright bunny smile.
"You're always working so hard noona," Jungkook said turning me around and kept massaging my shoulders, "I don't think I have told you how much I like you- I mean, how much I like your work." I tensed at his words and bit my lip to contain any emotion to bloom. Jungkook had always found a way to make me flustered, intended or not.
"Thanks?" Was the only thing I was able to say before the door slammed open and the maknae jumped away from me.
"Jungkook, we're waiting for you!" Jimin said and reached out for him.
They both left the dressing room, leaving me and my head in a mess. Why was he being like that? He knew our relationship could only be professional but he kept saying sweet things to me. Closing my eyes I sighed in frustration, what was I even thinking? Of course he would go around saying cute things, he was the golden maknae after all and everyone looked up for him, he was expected to act cute and stuff in front of his fans. Get a grip of your emotions, I said to myself and took my bag.
