It was a fine morning of my everyday life in France. I had just finished writing my book "Dreams" aka "Rêves" and was off to show it out to the company so they could publish it. I reached the company and parked my car. Then I went to the boss' office where some headmasters were arguing with him. I knocked on the door and went in.
"Excuse me, sorry for bothering. Sir, that's the book I promised you to deliver today. All set. When are you going to publish it?" I said.
The boss was sweating and I got suspicious but a bit more of worried.
"Marie? Oh well... *ehm ehm* I... I mean we, have to tell you something."
Moments of silence passed. But suddenly one of the headmasters stood up and said :
"Marie Antoinette, we're sorry to say that your books will no longer be published in this company."
I was strucked with shock to the existence of these words. I stood there without a word or a move for 2 minutes exactly. But then I let my words out. :
"Ummm... Eheh... I understand. Dealing with such a talented writer gets on your nerves huh? Well worry not, I also am bothered to work with a company that doesn't appreciates a person's work. Farewell Mr. Simons."
I stepped out and tears filled my eyes. Mr. Simons had always been such a nice, kind man. But I dont know what those headmasters did to him and brought to him sins.
"Who needs them? I can do better out by my own. Ill go on." I thought.
After that morning, and after hours of thinking what misery I had lived today, I decided to move out to sell my books. Hopefully I'll find a company that respects a person's work.

The second day, I booked a ticket to travel to England, Britain. Thank God I knew english so I could translate my books for english people.
"Flight 853, all passengers aboard flight 853, gate 2."
It was time. I was so tense for leaving home. Although it wasn't for good, but I felt like I'd miss my hometown, France, Paris, the sweet smell of chocolate in the morning from Mr. Dupanchae's chocolatier. The Effiel tower. Mr. Brujwa's orginal enherted restaurant. Mrs. Agrestte, the flowerist Mom. Dad. My sis, Chloe. Everything. But I knew that if I wanted to succeed, I had to put my emotions away and work hard.
So in I go. Bye bye Paris, hello Britain.
