I'm In Love With A Vampire?!

Chapter 1: Awakening.

I opened my eyes and stared up at the dark ceiling, another nightmare. I sat up on my elbows and looked around my eyes fixated on a glass of water on the nightstand next to my bed. I quickly reached for it and gulped the whole glass down i was still thirsty. That dream was no ordinary dream it felt way too real.. The way he reached out and grabbed my hand leading me away. Then my mother.. She was on the floor two small holes where in her neck. My baby sister seemed to have the life drained out of her. Then they all disappeared suddenly. I shook my head violently and sighed getting up i drowsily walked down the hall and yawned i paused as I noticed the TV was on. E. probably left it on. I yawned once more and turned the corner, i was right. E. was sprawled out on the couch his orange hair messily fell into his face as he snored lightly his hand was draped over the edge and his legs were crossed so he could stay on the couch. Hes tall, about 6'3 so his feet hung over the end. I blinked and sighed rubbing my face

"Geeze... " i mumbled grabbing the remote and turning the TV off. I walked to the kitchen and filled my glass up again drinking about half before putting the rest in the fridge. Yawning once more i stretched and walked out to the back balcony i stared down at the moonlight glistening off the water of the lake. There was a faint owl hoot in the distance and a small breeze carrying the smell of pine and lake water i loved that smell.. I brushed my oak brown hair back and stretched with a silent grunt

"You're getting old old man.." i mumbled to myself and pulled out a cigarette lighting it as i inhaled the smoke, soon breathing out just to repeat the process. I looked down at the lake and sighed leaning on the rail of the balcony the air shook the pine trees the small rustle in the trees could be heard i took another drag of my cigarette. Suddenly the back sliding door opened and i turned slightly as it closed footsteps neared and i turned back to the lake knowing it was E.

"Hey old man" he said i sighed

"Where three years apart E." i hissed to him he is 22 i'm 25 we've been working together for awhile now. I could hear him grunt slightly as he stretched with a yawn he turned to me leaning against the rail i turned to him with my cigarette in my mouth

"Eh?" he was staring at me like i had grown a third eye or something

"Nothin' nothin'." he said waving his hand

"You got a cigarette i can have?" he asked i growled

"What happened to your pack!?" i barked at him my voice slightly echoed through the dense forest

He smiled and waved his hands

"I sold them for some money don't yell old man" he said holding out his hand

"So gimme a cancer stick" he hissed his green eyes stared into me and i gave in growling to him as i handed him a cigarette he nodded a thanks and smiled lighting his up he breathed in, i could hear the faint wheeze as he did. He soon exhaled and looked up

"Man, its gorgeous out tonight" he said i looked up and stared at the clear sky some pine trees blocked the sky. I nodded keeping my gaze up the faint blue of the milky way crawled across the sky and thousands of constellations where standing out for the world to see.

"Look the big dipper!" i heard E say childishly as he pointed to a constellation forming what looked to be a pot shape. I nodded and took another drag from my cigarette i pointed up to another constellation "there's Pegasus" i said. E tilted his head and tried to make it out

"I don't see it" he said i dropped my hand and shrugged

"Too bad" i sneered at him sticking my tongue out with a chuckle he pouted and i laughed. I finished my cigarette and put it out throwing it in the nearby trash can we put outside. Well I put outside. E was only halfway done with his. I nodded to him and pat his shoulder and opened the sliding door walking in stepping into the house closing the door behind me. I looked back E. was staring off in the distance. I rubbed my head now fully awake i turned to look at the clock. The large hand was between five and six and the small hand pointed to four. I groaned i wanted to sleep in we didn't have work today. I yawned and brushed my hair back again my stomach growled slightly and i walked to the kitchen turning on the light i looked around and looked into the cupboard to see if anything good was in there. My eyes caught the green wrapping of seaweed i made a disgusted face and closed the cupboard door i looked into the freezer and saw some chicken i shrugged and grabbed two pieces out, placing them down on a cutting board nearby i looked around and grabbed some flour i walked into our pantry and looked around
