Jake

The principal called everyone after our lunch break to gather inside the auditorium; juniors and seniors. All of us sat down and waited for our principal to arrive. I've been looking for Paul after my second period but I got no luck finding him anywhere. Supposedly, he still has classes the same as Daniel and Zoey but I haven't seen him with them. Maybe he's not the one hanging out with them or just some other reasons that he can't be here for the mean time. I know he has such a hard time doing all the things he has to do.

So far, I've only caught Zoey and Jeff talking to Dan who apparently is really getting along with them. At least he doesn't find it awkward hanging around with them. Zoey might have already told him all about our past that I don't want him to know, especially those embarrassing moments that we had. Hopefully, I won't be slapped in the face, yet again by Dan. 'Zoey, keep your mouth shut'  I mouthed as she caught me looking at them. She pointed towards me, smiling and both Dan and Jeef looked at me.

I can clearly tell Daniel is fuming and embarrassed at the same time. Jeff and Zoey were just giggling at his side. I mentally face palmed and shrugged off. Damn those two! They really told him about everything. I totally knew they'd do it sometime. I sighed and bowed my head down in shame. If I only knew they'd talk about us, I'd probably would have sitted beside them just to keep their mouth shut. Daniel was still glaring at me like he had this intent to kill somebody right now. I need someone to save me now. Please help me!

"President Andrews! What are you doing there, sitting and just staring somewhere else? Why don't we sit down with your friends over there. Hmm...?" Paul surprisingly jumped in front of me, making me knock on my seat back, with eyes wide open. "Gosh Jake, you're not that used to my surprises yet? Come on, Zoey's waving us to sit next to them." He pulled my up, dragging me towards them.

So our position right now is this: me, Jeff and Paul in one row, then Zoey and Daniel right below us. it seems that Zoey is really working hard trying to help Daniel recover all his memories from the past, explaining that they are very good friends, that they do a lot of stuff together, shopping and everything else and almost every nonsense stuff she could think of. Daniel's phone rang up, which halted Zoey for a bit, Paul was talking to me but I only replied to him with a nod or a yes. Jeff is apparently amused with what Zoey was doing and all he did was giggle and smile.

"Hey, I miss you... Yeah?... Really?... Oh gosh, where are you now?" His head moved from side to side like he's looking for somebody or someone, I assume it's Kean. Who could possibly make him so excited right now?

Another silhouette leapt from behind and covered Dan's eyes. "Hmm, care to guess who this is?"

"Kean!" Daniel got up from his seat and hugged Kean. "Dan, I miss you!" He planted a kiss on his lips, which he returned the favor of kissing back. "I miss you too." I looked at them, one eyebrow raised and feeling something unusual. Jealousy? Not really, I have a boyfriend already. He's here beside me.

"Hmm, hey Jake." Paul peeked at me, and then caught my lips with his. "I love you." He said as he pulled back, getting up from his seat and walked towards the stage "Hey, where are you going?"

"To the principal, at the stage, cuz I'll be explaining stuff around later. Don't worry, just sit there and relax." Beaming a smile across his face, I responded a smile back to him. "Relax boy, he'll be totally fine." Jest nudged off my shoulder. "Yeah, I hope he is."

The principal appeared on the stage, standing in the middle, tapped the microphone twice before he started speaking. "So I assume everyone is here right now? Good, because I don't want to repeat everything that I have to say and that we can make ourselves clear. As you all know, there isn't any of those Junior-Senior prom for the last ten years. But now, with Paul here, we have decided to push this plan to the school board and they have agreed to what we intend to do. Since it's a bit odd and too much of a cliche of doing it on a February, which most seniors won't be around anymore, we will do it this July to be fair with them.

"Now if you're asking about your partners the school board apparently suggested to us that it doesn't matter who you're coming with but we have in mind that it should be a girl-boy dance, even if you're gay, lesbian or bisexual. So we ended up with a decision of following what the board suggested and you can who will be your partner. The theme would be something in the winter so you can do a lot of stuff whatever you have in your mind as long as it's related to our main theme. At the end of the activity, there will be the crowning of the King and Queen of the Night, King and King or Queen and Queen, if possible," she lightly chuckled before she continued, "which again the board suggested. So better plan things out and we will send you the whole set of infos as we are about to close in finishing the event." He walked out of the stage after that, leaving Paul and some of the people school bored before they dispersed as well. Paul ran back towards me and jumped on my lap. "Well well, so that's what keeping you busy nowadays."

"I thought I told you about that already, giving you hints like it was already revealing itself." He chuckled as he snuggled closer and pecked my lips. Heaven. This is certainly like heaven. "I don't know, but I'm gonna ask you something, will you be my partner for the dance?"

"Jake of course! I'd gladly come with you.... Like I'd come with anybody else besides you and you know I couldn't resist that offer." Paul exclaimed and being sarcastic at the same time. The four of them gave and 'aww' except for one whom I can tell was sort of being weird. Jake shrug it off. It's nothing.
