chapter 1

Elizabella pov.

I live with my 3 brothers, the greasers,  every since the accident  happened last summer. Sodapop, ponyboy, and darry  is my brothers. darry is older then sodapop and ponyboy but he is my twin. I look after soda and ponyboy  when darry not around.

I shared a room with darry who woke me up for school usually  but I woke up to someone knocking on the door.

"Knock knock."

I jumped up  from my bed  I looked at my alarm clock. "I'm late." I yelled around the house.

"What you mean your late are you talking about  your period." Darry ask when he stopped me in the hall.

No, I mean you didnt wake me up for school. I replied upset with him.

"Because  you are out of school remember." He said calmly.

"Really, well who was at the door." I ask.

"It was dally." He said.

Dally  was the family  friend and a greaser  also but I had a major crush on him everyone knew that  especially how I acted around  him he knew it to but never said anything because  he didn't want to hurt my feelings knowing he doesn't care about  anyone he is a player  darry would flip out if we had gotten together.

I went to my room to put on a dress then walked downstairs  to fix me some lunch. Everyone  laughs  and darry ask me where are you going. "No where." I replied.

"Why you have  on a dress then." He asked with a smirk.

"What, I can't wear a dress to make me feel good I have to only wear it if I am going out." I replied  with an attitude.

I walked off to the other room to get my phone  because  it was ringing.

Phone  convo.

"Hey elizabella." Prudence  said.

"Hey prude what you up too." I asked wanting to get out of this house.

"There is a party tonight are you  down." She asked me with excited voice.

"Hell YES  I'm down." I scream as my brother darry came running in to see what happened.

I got to go  see you at 7 I told  her as I hanged up the phone.

Phone convo ends.

"What are you down for." He ask angrily.

"I am going  to a party tonight." I told him.

"Take our kid brother ponyboy." Darry  muttered.

"No." I muttered.

Then I walked  out to go to the bathroom  to get ready  for tonight. I heard a knock on the bathroom door.

"Who is it." I yelled calmly.

I heard a voice say can I talk to you for a minute  please. Then  I opened the door for him. It was Dallas.

"What do you want." I ask him as I put my make up on.

"Where are you going." He asked quietly.

"A party." I muttered.

"Who's party." He questioned.

"I don't know why all the questions it not like your my brother anyways." I stated bluntly.

He looked angry when I said  that to him but I wasn t going to  let him ruin my fun knowing I don't know who is the party  going  to be at or anything  but  why is he always protective of me it is getting annoying. I walked pass him to go back to mine and darry room to put my sexy dress on.

I heard a doorbell as I was getting ready I heard ponyboy  yelled  prudence  is here.  I walked downstairs  to greet her  as I walked in the living room I noticed  all of  my brothers  and their friends  two bit  and Steve and yes that includes Dallas  looking  at me but what I didn't notice that  Dallas mouth dropped open  when I walked in.
