" I know you're hiding something, tell me what it is." I hissed, grabbing ahold of his hoodie and pinning him against the wall.
" I told you before, stay away from me." He said softly, staring deeply into my eyes, making my body start to heat up. His eyes were beautiful.
" Rain, tell me what's going on. That was no magic trick, I swear on my life." I said, trying to act more calm.
" Akari, it's not safe to be around me. Just leave me alone!" He said loudly, lifting my chin with a thumb.
" Tell me why I can't." I whispered.
Anger flashed in his eyes, speckles of red dotting his green eyes, as his expression turned serious.
" I warned you!!!" He shouted in fury.
Darkness.
The feeling of someone's soft warm hand holding mine, as I drifted through the darkness.
Help me.
" I warned you Akari, now you must pay the price!" A voice whispered harshly into my ear, the taste of blood filled my mouth and the smell of rotting human flesh lingered.
Help me.
" Rain!"
His once beautiful green eyes changed to the ones of blood red, glowing with hatrid and anger.
" Rain stop!" I cried, hot tears streaming down my face.
" Akari I was born to kill, I'm a demon. That's why I tried to warn you, to stay away, I didn't want to harm you!" He hissed, fighting against the horrible creature he was.
" Rain, what about the cards?!"
" The cards? Stay away from those, stay away from me, don't ever talk to me again. A demon doesn't belong in this world, so stay away! I warn you!"
" But Rain!!!" I screamed, clenching his hand tightly.
" No Akari, leave." He whispered, kissing my cheek as the darkness disappeared along with Rain.
So Rain was a demon, and I couldn't ever be around him.
Or I would die.
But what did that have to do with the black cards?
