*Paige's POV*

After everyone finished eating and we were about to get changed to swim, Alex started walking over to me, phone in hand, sporting his signature "I'm about to ask you for something" look.

"What do you want?" I asked before he even made his way over to me.

He chuckled, "How did you know?"

"Alex I'd know that face anywhere, you've been using it to get your way since you were five."

"Yeah okay, well I was gonna ask if I could go over to Jake's. He's having some people over."

I nodded slowly, "And by some people, you mean that he's having a party?"

"More or less, I like to call it a small get-together."

"Will there be alcohol there?"

He raised an eyebrow, "Why? Do you wanna come with?" He smiled jokingly.

"I'm serious Alex, I don't want the police at our door at 3 A.M. bringing you home. We can't have any more trouble, you're seventeen."

"Quit being dramatic. And no, I don't think there'll be alcohol."

"Okay fine. How are you gonna get there?"

"About that," he smiled, "I was thinking I could just take the car?" He asked hopefully, "And Madison could take you home later, since I'm sure you'll be here for a while."

"Alex no. I don't want them to have to take me home."

"I can give you a ride," Nathan appeared, seemingly out of nowhere.

I frowned and looked at him, "You don't have to do that."

He shrugged nonchalant and smiled, "I'd be glad to."

Alex grinned, "Great so that's worked out. Keys?"

I rolled my eyes, but pulled the keys out of my pocket.

He tried to grab them but I pulled them away, "Be home before curfew."

He nodded and tried to take them again, but his hand grabbed at only air, "Don't drink or do anything stupid. And if you do drink, absolutely do not drive okay? I mean it."

"Yeah Paige I know," he reached out again and took the keys then looked suggestively between Nathan and I, "Have fun."

I rolled my eyes, "Be good."

"Right back atcha," he nodded through the house and I heard the car start a bit later and drive off.
