What if I don't want to leave you?

" Akari you're going mad, Rain is not a demon. Although he may be a little insane. But really!" Lucas said, clenching my sleeve with a fist.
I stared deeply into his entrancing grey eyes, each breath I took formed puffs of cold winter air.
" Lucas, you have to believe me, I saw what happened, I saw who he truly is. Rain is a monster!" I screamed.
I watched as he slowly let go of my sleeve, backing away from me, head hung low.
" Look Akari, I'd love to believe you, but it just doesn't seem logical. I'll see you tomorrow, bye." Lucas sighed.
His feet shuffled along the street, his dark locks swaying in the wind.
" Lucas..." I breathed, shielding my face with my knees.
Until a pale, cold hand touched my head.
I looked up and was surprised to see Rain, green eyes full of life.
" Rain."
" I heard what you said."
" Rain I-I'm really I- " And you have all the right to say these things, after all.
I'm just a monster." He whispered, lifting my head from my knees with a hand. I saw the black cards peeking out from his pocket, as I fiddled with my fingers, tempted to touch them.
The craving to see what they were for, a craving to have my fingers feel the smooth black cards.
So I did.
" Akari what the hell?!?! I told you not to touch the cards!" He shouted, inches away from my face. My body shook with fear, he truly was a demon.
" Rain, please stop this..." I breathed.
His lips curved into a smile, sharp teeth glistening with dark thick blood at the tips.
" Demons can't be tamed. They crave blood, spirits, love. There's no use asking for help. It's too late Akari."
Then it happened again.
His green eyes turned a shade of violent red. Crooked black horns with white tips shot out of his head, and blood trickled down from his eyes.
" RAIN STOP!!!!!" I sobbed, his sharp nail caressing my cheek.
" This is your punishment."
Darkness.
Except, this time I was passed out.
Help me.
