He was a completely normal guard. The same look. Intimidating. But that was the point of it wasn't it? To scare the patients into doing what the nurses wanted us to. At the same time, he was different. The look in his eyes was almost guilty. There was something raw, something boring into my own crystal blue eyes, making me want to walk silently into his arms and cry. There were compassion and... oh my god I'm freaking staring. My eyes shot down to my feet in surrender. I could see Sophie walking past the guard, starting to apologise.
"I am really sorry, but I just didn't know how to stop you from asking about your brother and the other patients is getting nervous of the loud voices and running and..." She was now out of breath and went silent. I'll admit; she is kind of a sweet woman sometimes. I don't understand why she is working in this place if she feels like she has to apologise for everything.
The man awkwardly coughed, and we both turned to him. He took one of my arms in his hand, careful not to break any bones, and started to walk down the hall with me hanging after him. Even though he didn't walk really fast, I had problems trying to keep up. After the small race a minute ago, I was exhausted. I looked towards my room, but I couldn't find it due to my blurry vision. I sat down right away. In the middle of the hallway. I could see the boy in the room next to mine in my sidevision, mocking me. The guard still held my arm, but crouched down to my level. Sophie saw what was going on and called someone on her alarm. My body just stopped working and I couldn't sit upright anymore. Falling into the man's open arms, my eyes fluttered close and the vision turned pitch black. I could still feel him slapping my cheeks trying to wake me up, and Sophie calling my name repediatly. I opened my eyes again, but couldn't move a muscle. My whole body was tingling like crazy, and the room was spinning.

My eyes shot open. The nightmares still fresh in my mind as my heart was beating almost too fast for me to handle. It had been about three days since I passed out in the hallway. Back in my room. Stuck again. My thoughts wandered back to the guard. It's like he could just look me in the eyes to make me surrender. Wasn't I supposed to fight till the end? This was getting weirder every minute. I was in my own routine, and then he came in and smashed it all. With his beautiful dark green eyes that just saw right through your façade. I decided to stand up from the hospital bed. Finally. I walked over to the tiny bathroom to grab some water. When I got out, I could hear a knock. My eyes wandered to the door, and I opened it. The hallway was completely empty. It was probably just the boy in the room next door that wanted to screw with me. I sighed, turned and sat on the bed again, when someone tapped on my shoulder. My heart almost stopped, but started to race again when I saw who it was. The one person I've been waiting to see for months.
"Hey sister", he said as casual as ever. Like if he saw me yesterday. But he didn't, because I'm freaking locked inside this hell of a hospital. For the rest of my life. At least he is here now.
