Karlie's POV

I woke up this morning smiling because I told my mom last night, but my smile quickly faded when I realized I have to tell my dad, while I was thinking my phone started ringing.

"Hello" I answer without looking at the ID

"Hi beautiful I wanted to know what you were doing today" Chris says through the phone

"Um today is family day, but I told my mom and I wanted to know if you would come" I didn't hear anything " I mean you don't have too but I thought___"

"No baby it's fine what time and does your mom hate me?"

"No she likes you more because I told her everything because I wanted to get on birth control but my mom was happy we got together because she and almost every girl in my family wanted us to start dating as soon as I turned 16."

He laughed "baby breathe but what time do you want me to come over"

"11 because that gives me time to tell my dad I have a boyfriend so he doesn't be surprised"

"okay baby I'll be there, I can't wait to see you"

"Okay and I can't wait to see you" I say then hung up the phone.

After I talked to Chris I hopped in the shower and once my shower was finished I got dressed. Once I was dressed I went to my parents room but no one was in there, "mom" I say through the house and walking down the stairs.

"Karlie I'm in the kitchen" I hear her say

I walk in the kitchen and I see all of my siblings "mom where's dad, I have to tell him now because Chris will be here at 11"

"He is in his office" She says passing out plates

"Why is Chris coming over it's family day" DJ asked eating a piece of bacon

"You find out later" I say walking out to my dad's office, I knocked on the door "come in" He hear him say behind the door.

I walked in and sat on the couch, he looked up from his computer "Karlie hey baby girl" he says looking back at his computer.

"um daddy I have something to tell you" I say playing with my hands

He looks up at me then walks over to me "baby girl I know your nervous because you play with your hands and show no eye contact just like your mom. But whatever it is you can tell me."

I took a deep breath "um I have a boyfriend" I say still not looking at my dad

"Okay what's his name, and who is he?" He ask making me look at him

"It's Chris" As soon as I said Chris I seen the fire in his eyes

"AVA!!!!!" My dad yells calling for my mom, she walks in his office with a panic look "yes what is it what happened?"

"Did you know your daughter has a boyfriend and the boyfriend is Chris the jock and popular guy of the school." My dad says getting up and walking over to my mom

"Yes I did and I invited him over for family day he will be here in 15 minutes, and you , Jason, Jacob, Nate. Austin, and Jaylon better be nice to him or you my friend will be in the dog house for a week or more if I see he feels any type of way uncomfortable." My mom says with a evil smile that makes me laugh a little.

"Ava she is 17" my dad says with a soft voice now

"Yes she is and our rule was 16 and she waited until 17 so give her a break and I mean Chris is a good guy I like him and so will you even if you have to put on a fake smile."

Wow my mom is no joke "Karlie Chris is here" I hear Bella yell, my mom looked at me "go ahead Karlie." She says opening my dads office.

I walked out and took a deep breath and when I seen Chris I smiled and ran over to him, he was talking to my brother. Walking over to him and my brother he sees me and smiles and comes over to me and wraps his arms around me and kissed me "I missed you." He says looking at me, I completely forgot my brother was there until he said something.

"Um get your hands off my sister you can't touch her like that" He says pulling us apart

I rolled my eyes "yes he can he is my boyfriend." I say with a smile looking at Chris

DJ looked at me then at Chris "Dad, mom Karlie has a boyfriend and it's Chris" he yells through the house, Chris laughs and I put my head down in embarrassment.

Chris' POV

Karlie and I are sitting on the couch in her living room talking when her aunt Skylar comes in and sits in front of us on the coffee table "Chris I like you I do but if you hurt my Karlie your parents will be finding your body. Kay" She says smiling

"Auntie Skylar would you please" Karlie say irritated, I laughed and rubbed her shoulder

"It's okay baby, their protective of you and I understand" I say smiling

"See Karlie he gets it" Her aunt says kissing both of our cheeks and walking away.

"I'm so sorry about my family" She says burying her head in her hands, she so cute when she is embarrassed.

"Baby it's okay really" I say trying to get her to look at me

"No it's not everybody have been threating you and the only reason why my dad hasn't threatened you is because my mom told him that he will be in the dog house for a week or more, and my mom is scary so of course he listened." I laughed because Mrs. Mason maybe only 5'3 but she is a pit bull.

"Baby listen I love your family and I think it's cute how they are so protective of you, but since your dating me I'm going to be protective of you too because your mine. " I say smiling at her, she just looked at me then she laughed.

"I guess but I just wished they stop acting like I'm fragile"

"Baby your the first born of course they are going to treat you like that, but I promised you that I will try my absolute hardest not to hurt you and I mean that." I say kissing her temple "baby you wanna come over tomorrow my mom would love to see you and we can watch movies." I ask hopping she says yes

She looked at me "yes I would love too and I love your mom" She says smiling

I kissed her and smiled I'm glad she gets along with my mom because I really want to keep her happy.

Karlie's POV

The next day

Yesterday was horrible, my family kept threatening Chris from both grandmothers own down to my little 2 year old cousin. He kept saying it was fine but I was beyond embarrassed, but I'm glad he left in one piece.

I got dressed and headed downstairs, I walked into the kitchen to see my mom making Anna and Ragen's lunch "Morning mom" I say sitting on the Island

"Hey baby so how did you feel about yesterday?" She asked washing her hands

"Everybody threaten him and it was embarrassing but he kept saying it was okay and kept a smile on his face and kept saying how he loves how over protective my family is." I tell her in a irritated tone

My mom laughed "baby girl your the first born out of all of the kids so of course everyone is going to be protective and if he said it was okay and he didn't mind. Then you shouldn't worry about it either." She says packing away my sisters lunch.

I sighed, then you hear footsteps running down, "mom how am I getting to school?" DJ asked, "Chris can take you he is picking me up and he should be here in a minute." I say drinking some orange juice, he looks at me then nods his head.

"Yea and uncle Nate is picking you and everybody else up." My mom says drinking her coffee

"Wait so is Karlie getting picked up too?" DJ asked

"No she has practice today. plus your dad and I are coming home late tonight it's Monday DJ you know the routine. " She says still drinking her coffee

Soon we heard the doorbell, I got up grabbed my things "come on DJ and bye mom see you later." I say kissing her cheek.
