a date for daisy?

I crept out of her shower after feeling the lovely hot droplets of water on my body. I still couldn't wrap it round my head I was in Savannah's house. How did these past few weeks come around? I was invisible to her probably but now we were suddenly like best friends. I was snuggled in my towel and realised I didn't have any clothes. I didn't want to go back to the hell house I slept at. I called out to Savannah.

"Uh, Savannah? I-I haven't got any clothes" I called through the door peeping my head through the crack. Within seconds Savannah came jogging to the door with her handful of clothes. 

"Here you go, I hope they fit if not I can go get some others." She rambled on. I put my hand out as to shut her up.

"They're perfect thanks. I will pop by my house anyway to get some clothes before if that's ok?" I said through a playful smile. She handed me some blue jeans and a plain baby pink t-shirt and white sleeves and collar, written on the belly 'ugh' on it. "Oh my god, I love the 1975 I need this t-shirt!" I exclaimed. 

"Haha so do I! They are amazing; you can always borrow it if you want." She offered. 

"Aww that's very kind of you, but I think i'll be ok for now." I said starting to shiver since I was still clothed in my towel. 

"Ok. Go get dressed you're shaking!" Savannah forced. She rubbed my arm a little as to warm me up. It was nice though and I got that feeling when our fingers touched that sent a tingling wave through me. I smile and nodded and closed the door. I went to get changed into her clothes which fitted perfectly. I ran my fingers through my par wet hair and went out. Savannah was sitting on her bed reading some book I didn't get to see the title because she saw me quickly and got up. "They fit you, great! Are they comfy?" She questioned. 

"Yeah they are really nice, thanks for lending me them." I smirked. Savannah had already had a shower, presumably while I was as well in the downstairs one. Her hair was par wet like mine and it hang so smoothly over the right side of her face. I realised I was staring again and started to blush looking down, she giggled. 

"Right, are you ready? Do you wanna go to yours first and get your clothes?" She asked.

"Yeah if that's ok? Thanks again for everything." I answered. She smiled widely and nodded. Savannah started to walk down the stairs so I followed. She got her car keys and went outside I guess she was going to drive us to my house. We went and sat in her comfy car and she turned the engine on. She offered for me to choose a CD so obviously I picked the 1975. We sang the whole way and we laughed so much; I already knew this was going to be a great day. I directed her to the end of my lonely narrow road and said to wait there. 

"Do you want to me to come with you?" Savannah questioned.

"Uh no, not it's ok. I won't be a minute." I replied quick in case she made herself come. God did I not want her to see that part of my life. I closed the door of the car and ran up my road dreading to go into that house of horror. I made my way to the door and quietly opened it. The smell of alcohol pounded my nose like a machine gun. There she was; sleeping on the couch, her arm hanging of the side with bottles on the floor. I tried to move quietly not wanting the monster to awake from the dead. Then I thought, who did I care? My 'mother' was probably so drunk nothing could wake her from her lost, careless, intoxicated brain. I ran upstairs into my cold barren room and stood. I sighed and walked over to my drawer, at least my part time jobs got me some money to buy some awesome clothes. I grabbed my blue 'mom jeans', a purple vintage top that I tucked in a little loose near the front, and a shirt jacket that had a bunch of random flowers on that reached just below my thighs and had rolled up sleeves. I thought for a moment then decided fuck it so I took my black baseball cap and flicked it on my head backwards. 

I grabbed my purse to buy some treats for me and Savannah, luckily I had just had my Saturday job pay so I felt rich. I also got a rug for us to sit on and my camera. I ran downstairs spraying perfume all over me to drench the horrible liquor smell. I took it with me to spray some more after shutting the door. I ran back down the road and went back at sat in her car. 

"Well, doesn't someone look fancy?" She grinned eyeing me as I put her clothes on the back seat.

"Well, anything for a day out with the one and only pretty Savannah. I got to make an impression." Then blushed after I realised what I said but she laughed with her gorgeous smile. She grabbed my hat and put it on her head backwards and giggled and proceeded to drive on. "Hey!" I moaned and she just laughed. She pressed play on the 1975 and we sang along again with the windows down throwing our hair around like it was toys. I kept directing her the way to go to the secret abandoned place I was taking her. We stopped on the way at a shop so I could pick up some snacks for us. We finally pulled into an empty road and parked it on the side. The place we were was covered in trees and wildlife. The hills were soaring near the back of the forest. 

"So where are you taking me then, Miss Daisy?" She asked curious grinning. 

"It's a surprise, your majesty." I answered with our role play we did earlier also smiling. I told her to follow me and we talked all the way to the location I was heading for non stop. I never realised we had so much in common and could talk about anything and everything. After a while of climbing and passing back and forward our drinks, I told her to shut her eyes. At first Savannah looked a little suspicious but then she did after I gave her a forceful look. I took her hand and swallowed I was a little nervous to be honest holding her hand but she squeezed it tight. However, I guided her up through the trees to an opening. There was a bit of a field then a long railway track me and Delvin had discovered when we were younger messing around, it was really outstanding and beautiful. It was quite dangerous if you were silly, I mean this track just hung over mid air. The backdrop was gorgeous with trees as tall as mountains and then real mountains behind it. It made me miss him a bit.

"Ok, open." I said while she still held my hand. Savannah opened her eyes and let out a gasp, her eyes widening and scanning her surroundings. After a while of her taking it in she looked at me and smiled; she unlocked her hand from mine and gave me a massive hug. She whispered in my ear "Thank you." and I gave a squeeze back. I layed the blanket out and set up all the food and snacks for us to eat. We sat down for a while, taking pictures, talking and throwing food into each others mouth, I know 'so cliche'. It was magical though, being with Savannah always made me happy and I couldn't thank her enough, although she didn't know. We put on indie music while the sun set like - 'Days - The Drums' such an amazing song Delvin showed me; we just danced and sang along like two teenagers forgetting about life and living it.

After a while when the sun was turning everything into a 1975 pink again; we walked on the railway and explored the crumbling abandoned buildings that were around here. The night was so perfect and we even did some star gazing when the light turned to dark. We just spread out on the rug and said what we saw. Savannah came closer and nuzzled her face under my chin, she was so adorable I couldn't help admitting it. I nuzzled my head back into hers, quickly taking my hat off her.

"Actually it looks better on you." I smiled and put in back on her while she smiled satring into my eyes.

"Thanks Daisy. I like spending time with you, I really do." She spoke genuinely. 

"So do I Savannah." I replied and put my arm round her shoulder and squeezed it but I tried to take it quite quickly because I didn't want to be awkward. Savannah just grabbed my hand and held it there for a few more minutes not saying anything, but I didn't mind I liked it round her. 

"Thanks for the date." She giggled, I giggled back not knowing if she was joking but I guessed she was. After the time went by it started to get late and I think Savannah had feel asleep, I glanced over to check and she put her arm round my belly, she was. I smiled pushing her hair over her ear and staring at her while she nuzzled her head even closer to me. I couldn't help the smile on my face, she was the most cutest, adorable, beautiful, funny, kindest creature on this planet. This girl made me so confused.

I secretly wished it was a date deep down, I secretly knew I had feelings for her deep down, I needed to talk to Delvin.
