(DIANNE is at the bar, clearly intoxicated. It is the same night. It is crowded and loud. NIKKI walks in, looks around, spots DIANNE taking a selfie with the bartender, and then pushes her way through the crowd to her. DIANNE starts as she recognizes NIKKI, and sets her phone on the bar.)

DIANNE: Oooh, Nikki! I'm so glad you're here! I was just... I wanted to ask that girl to go back to my 'partment with me. (She points off in no random direction.) Can you help me out, sister, yes, please? I'd love you foreva. Really, I would, I really would. Please.

NIKKI: Absolutely not. No way in hell. Rina called me and told me you were drunk off your ass and that I needed to come get you. I'm here to get you back to your apartment- by yourself.

DIANNE: Oh, that's so sweet, but really, I want her to come home with me. Please, Nikki, please. She's so pretty. Look at her tits! They're so... they're so soft-looking. I want her to come home with me. Please. I'll buy you a puppy. Remember, you said you wanted a lil' puppy snap-zer.

NIKKI: A schnauzer, drunkie. You do not have your brain on right. You need to come home.

DIANNE: Nikki, please. (She stands tall, composing herself and shaking herself out to look less drunk.) See? I'm perfectly fine. Nothin goin' on. I can take care of myself. I can take care of her. Isaac is out on a meetin' until Friday. We won't even get in trouble. We're okay.

(NIKKI looks hesitantly between the girl and DIANNE. Then, finally, she sighs.)

NIKKI: Fine... Fine. But if I do, you'll go home and stay home?

(DIANNE nods. The following happens non-verbally but through the music of the bar. NIKKI goes over to VIVIAN to talk her up. It's clear VIVIAN is tipsy too, which is why it takes little time for VIVIAN to agree to go over to DIANNE. The moment VIVIAN is close enough, DIANNE pulls her into a kiss. NIKKI, still looking uncomfortable, turns away. VIVIAN and DIANNE are wrapped around each other for quite a few minutes before NIKKI finally manages to get them out the door. Once they are gone, CALLIE appears out from the crowd, making her way over to where DIANNE had forgotten her cellphone at the bar. She moves downstage with the phone. She glances off towards where the three had disappeared to, and then puts the phone up to her ear. It's a beat before there is an answer, and when CALLIE begins to talk, the music softens.)

CALLIE: Hello, is this Isaac Martin?... Oh, good. My name is Callie Nelson... Yes, I know. Listen, I'm very sorry to bother, but Dianne left her phone at the bar... Yes, a bar... Well, see, that's just the thing, Mr. Martin, there's something about Dianne that I think you ought to know...

(Lights slowly fade as the music does. End of Scene.)
