Donghae shrank back even further against the door. Kim Heechul was definitely a mood killer, that was for sure. He quickly pulled the black pajama pants back up and eyed Heechul with fear and apprehension.
“What the hell are you doing Hyukkie?” Heechul demanded angrily, his cold eyes never leaving Donghae’s face.
Eunhyuk stood up slowly, swallowing tightly. Of all the times for Heechul to barge in, it had to be when he was enjoying himself? Damn bastard.
“Did you ever think of knocking Chullie?” there was a barely noticeable waver to Eunhyuk’s voice, but Donghae caught it.
“Knocking? You told me to come see you as soon as I found out what you wanted to know about that stupid fuck. I walk in and what do I find? You on your knees sucking off the little bastard you wanted me to get the scoop on”
The blonde didn’t waver this time. He met Heechul’s cold stare with one of his own.
“I also believe I told you to knock when coming to my room.”
Heechul snorted.
“Yeah? Well I don’t listen to you. You of all people should know that.”
“Maybe it’s time you start. I can easily make your life here a living hell, and you know it.”
“Oh yeah? You should know that I have the power to knock you off your little pedestal. “
Eunhyuk’s stare grew even colder, as if that were possible, and he took a menacing step forward.
“Bring it on Kim Heechul, bring it on. Now in the meantime, I have a shower to take and classes to get ready for.”
“And you’re telling me this why?”
“It’s another way of me telling you to get the hell out.”
Another glare from Heechul, and the angry male stormed out, slamming the door.
“H-hyung…” Donghae finally spoke, his voice barely above that of a whisper.
“Shut up.”
It took all of Donghae’s courage to step away from the door and walk over to Eunhyuk. He took a breath, and swallowed past the lump forming in the back of his throat.
“Why did you ask Heechul to get information on me?”
“That’s not your business, now is it kid?” Eunhyuk wouldn’t turn around and face him. He kept his back to him.
Donghae said nothing in response to that. He’d find out somehow. He’d do what his hyung had done, ask around.
“I have to take a shower.” The older blonde muttered to no one in particular and walked into the bathroom, locking the door. He shed what little clothing he wore and turned the water on. When it had reached his preferred temperature, he stepped into the steaming shower and closed his eyes, placing his hands, palms flat, onto the wall. Donghae’s words replayed in his mind.
“Why did you ask Heechul to get information on me?”
“Because.” Eunhyuk whispered, his words drowned out by the sound of the water gushing from the shower head, “You remind me of someone from my past.”
