"Hey Justin, Hey Laynna, Hey Sophie, Hey Casey!" I said hugging them all once I got out of the car. We went in to the school and went to our team center to put our stuff away. I put my stuff in my locker and grabbed my binder and closed my locker. Then I went to first period science and sat next to Casey and Laynna. Justin is only in our gym, math, LA1&2, and art. Sophie is only in our gym, and social studies. After LA2 I ran out of the room as fast as I could. I wanted to be out of here! When I got my books into my backpack I went and waited in the middle of the team center for Justin, Casey, Laynna, and Sophie. Finally they got to where I was.
"Hey guys. Okay so my brother said its okay that we hang out until tonight" I said.
"okay where and who will pick us up?" Laynna asked.
"well Zayn could pick us up because the others are recording, and maybe the mall?" I asked.
"okay. So the cherry valley mall that's like a few minutes away from here?" Sophie asked.
"yep" I said. We all grabbed our backpacks and went out the door. We dropped our backpacks off in Casey's moms car because she was here to pick up Audrey, Casey's little sister. Then I called Zayn.
{on phone Z-Zayn H-Hadley}
Z hello?
H hey Zayn.
Z whatcha need Hads?
H so we are going to be at Cherry Valley Mall so can you text me when you are on the road to pick us up?
Z okay I will probably be there at 4:30 so just be ready at 4:15 okay?
H okay thanks zaynie!
Z welcome okay bye Hadley

"okay so Zayn said he will pick us up at 4:30 and now it's about 12:15 so let's get walkin!" I said. We walked to the mall and decided to eat. Since I still am kinda anorexic I don't eat a lot. So I only got some fries.
"did you guys see izzys shorts today?" Laynna asked.
"omg her butt was falling out! That was disgusting and I was stuck behind her in gym! I was gagging!" Sophie said gagging at the end. We all laughed. When we were done eating and talking it was 1 so we just went around the mall and played at the baby park thing in Von Maur. We just hung out and played until Zayn told me he was here. We went out to the parking lot and got into the car. I sat in the front and everyone sat in the back. We drove out of the parking lot and got onto the highway. I put in my ear buds and played my favorite music playlist. I was zoned out in the music when I heard everyone yelling. I turned my head and looked out the window just in time to see a semi truck driving full force into my door, and only my door. I felt the truck hit my side and the door was implanted into my side. The window shattered and the metal from the door went into me. I cried out in pain. The last thing I heard was Zayn saying 'its all going to be okay Hadley it's going to be okay' then I passed out.
Zayn's POV
I was driving on the highway and I heard something squeaking. I turned my head and saw a semi truck coming towards us. Justin, Casey, Laynna, and Sophie were not in the impact zone. But Hadley was right in the middle of it. The semi trick came and smashed the door into her side. She cried out in pain and I saw the metal and glass in her side. The only other person hurt was Sophie. She wasn't bleeding just crying. I told Hadley it's all going to be okay and then she passed out. The paramedics came and I got out because I was okay. They pulled out an unconscious Hadley and put her on the gurney. Then they put Sophie on another one. The boys met us at the scene of the crash and we got into the van. Louis was in hysterics in the passenger seat. I felt so bad. This was all my fault.
"Zayn don't feel bad about this it wasn't your fault" Liam said when we got into the hospital. Louis was just standing there in the doorway of Hadley's room. I went up and hugged him. He sobbed. I cant even imagine how he feels. Hadley has been through so much. Why this? Why this? We went and sat down in the waiting room.
"Hadley Tomlinson?" the nurse said. Louis stood up and the nurse mentioned for him to follow.
Louis POV
I followed the nurse to the front desk and she explained to me what happened.
"well when the semi hit Hadley's door the window shattered and some metal was pushed through the door. So glass, and metal all went into Hadley's right side. The impact caused Hadley's arm to shatter and her leg to break. But the glass and metal cut her severely and she needs to go into surgery to get it out, and when she got hit, her neck snapped and we need to do surgery on that too." the nurse explained.
"will she be okay?" I asked.
"yes. her arm will be in a hard cast, but her leg will be in a hard cast with a boot over it. Then her neck will have a brace over it so she doesn't move it and hurt it even worse. Then she will need stitches in her side from the cuts. But she will live. If we want her to be okay, she needs to go into surgery now. Before she goes into a coma" the nurse said. Then she went away and the wheeled out Hadley's bed. I looked and say my little sister all bloody and bruised. I started to cry again. Then I went and told the boys the news. Now we wait for the surgery to be over.
