So this is my punishment?

My hands and feet were bound, the scratchy material used dug into my skin, blood dripping onto the concrete floor. Water droplets trickled down my cheeks, leaving salty reminders.
" Please help me..." I whimpered.
Who knew after meeting a boy, for the first time, would this happen?
The door creaked open, the light I received blinded me.
" Akari." His raspy voice hissed.
Rain held a large butcher knife in his hands, dried blood streaked the end.
" Rain please don't do this!!! I know you're not all demon!" I cried.
" That's where you're wrong my sweet. The only reason I can be human is by using the cards."
That's why he wouldn't allow me to touch the black cards...
" Stop!!!!"
His eyes started to return to the normal playful green color, his skin becoming pale as snow, as he sank to the ground.
I inched my way over to where the butcher knife was, as I cut my way out of the binds.
" Rain! Rain! Say something!"
" Stay away..." He croaked, reaching for the black cards.
" But Rain, I can help you. You don't have to live the life of a demon!"
" Yes I do, I was born this way and you can't change that! Just stay away unless you want to die!"
He kissed my cheek, and disappeared into the cold winter air.
" I'm sorry Rain..."
There was nothing I could do, a demon was trying to kill me.
And I was falling in love with him.
