A knock at the door woke me up." Jayden! Get the door!" I said sleepily and not moving. He groaned. " you get it!" He said sleepily, also not moving. " I did it last time!" I said. " no I did! You just laid here until I woke you up!" He said. I could hear the puppy dog eyes and I could feel him staring at my eyes while they were closed. I groaned. " fine!" I said getting up and getting my slippers and robe walking down stairs. They knocked again. " I'm coming! I'm coming!" I said walking to the door and opening it. My mouth opened in surprise. There had to be at least 30 people outside our door. " w-what are you doing here?!" I said. " we came to thank you! You saved all our lives at the restaurant last night! You and your husband!" One man said. I blushed. " h-he's not my husband... he's just my boyfriend!" I said. " well can you go get him? We want to thank him!" Another woman said. " Jayden!" I yelled not taking my eyes off them.

Jayden came downstairs in his robe and slippers. He pecked my lips. I blushed. " hey, what's wrong-- oh shit!" He said looking startled by the people outside. They awed. " what the hell are you people doing?" He said. " you saved us last night!" Said a blonde woman. " how did you find our house?!" He said. " we had some one follow you home!" Said a man in a suit. " your house is lovely by the way!" He said. " thanks but, can you guys stop stalking us and leave?" I said. " of course! But right after one interview! You're gonna be on the news!" One woman said. Jayden and I immediately looked at each other. " uhhh..." I said. " c'mon please? We're not gonna leave until you do it!" A woman said. " fine..." Jayden said. " can you at least come later? Cause we need to get dressed." I said. " oh it ok! We'll just stay here until you finish!" She said. I groaned and shut the doors in front of their faces. I banged my head against the door. "C'mon, we might as well go get ready so we can get this over with." He said walking up the stairs. I followed closed behind.

After a shower, we both put on some casual clothes and went outside. " they're here!" The news anchor said. The camera crew closed on us. There were boom mics and bright lights and the guy with the camera was so close he could've knocked me over. The news woman greeted us. She had dark skin, black poofy hair, with little grays in, so she was obviously older than us. She wore a black pantsuit and heels. " ready?" She said standing beside us as a crew member counted down from 3 and said " rolling!" " good morning America! I'm Lisa Charles here with the news report! Last night, these two heros saved hundreds of lives! There was an attack at the the chandelier restaurant and got in a killer fight to a man with a gun! This man here, what's your name sir?" She said looking at Jayden. " uh Jayden link." He said. "Disarmed the man and his girlfriend here, what's your name sweetie?" She perked " Alex levin" I said. " seemed to have saved herself from him as well! We still don't know his identity, but police are on it!" She said " so how was the experience?" She asked. " the same as the others! We have been on plenty of adventures we can't talk about." I said dully. " adventures?" She asked. " yep." I said. " fascinating. We've seen you fight with your hands, how bout those swords?" She said pointing in our house at our swords. " if we do will leave?" Jayden said, clearly unamused. He grabbed our swords and tossed mine to me. Oh god.

We just finished sword fighting and I got really into it... I'm sure it was epic. " there you have it folks! City heros, Alex and Jayden!" She said. " back to you Mike!" She smiled. The camera crew took all their stuff and went to their van. " thank you guys so much! It was a pleasure to meet you!" She said. "It was a pleasure meeting you too miss Charles." Jayden said as everyone drove away. We went to the house to chill. We put our swords back and plopped down on the couch. I kid you not, the second my butt hit the couch, Jayden's mom busted in our house. We jumped. " what are you doing here?!" Jayden said. " you're famous!" She said breathing hard and smiling. " just cause we were on the news doesn't make us famous, mom." He said. " no seriously! I went on snapbook or facechat or instatwit or what ever it's called and your all everyone's talking about!" She exclaimed. She showed us her phone. I got up to see. Jayden did too. There were pictures of us fighting all over the social media. " cool" I said. We went back to what we were doing. " really?! You're just gonna do nothing with this fame?!" She said. " yep" I said. " not everyone is obsessed about being ' famous' " jayden said. She left and shut the door.
