it was tuesday, during summer, and jinyoung had just woke up, instantly greeted by the sun blinding him through his window. the boy groaned lowly and rolled onto his stomach in order to bury his face in his pillow. he was about to go back to sleep when he felt movement next to him, remembering he had company.

he rolled over yet again, his back now facing the window, and cracked open one of his eyes. after staring at his boyfriend through one eye for a minute or two, he decided to open the other and move a little closer to the sleeping boy. his eyes roamed the other's body, stopping at the crisp, white sheets that covered his lower half.

jinyoung reached out a hand and gently lowered his fingertips onto the nape of his neck, then he slowly trailed his hand down his bare spine, again stopping at the white sheets. he noticed his boyfriend's back had tensed and looked up to meet his eyes that were now cracked open slightly. "good morning." jinyoung said, his voice cracking a bit due to it being the first thing he said since waking up, but a small smile still on his face.

it was, indeed, a good morning. the morning before was good, too, and the morning before that, and so on. this caused jinyoung to come to the conclusion that every moment he spent with jackson, his boyfriend, was good.

jinyoung was busy thinking about jackson now, so busy he didn't even realize he was staring until a familiar, raspy voice broke through his thoughts. "take a picture, it'll last longer." jackson had a smirk on his face and jinyoung wanted nothing more than to kiss him in that moment, just to wipe that stupid smirk off his face.

as if hearing his thoughts, jackson began leaning closer, gazing down at his lips. jinyoung quickly held his hand up and pushed against jackson's face. "morning breath." he said simply, to which the other boy laughed. jackson snaked an arm around jinyoung's waist and pulled him closer in order to place his lips on the skin just under his jaw. jinyoung squirmed a bit and slapped a hand against jackson's shoulder. "that tickles..." he breathed out. the room suddenly felt hotter than before with jackson this close to him.

jackson, who had continued leaving kisses on his boyfriend's skin until he reached his chest, sat up and pushed the raven-haired boy onto his back. the brunette placed his legs on either side of his waist, straddling him. he leaned down and kissed jinyoung, and the two boys' lips moved together for a few moments until they had to stop in order to breathe.

jackson stared down at jinyoung, mesmerized by his beauty. his dark hair was messy, sticking up in different directions, but in a cute way. his cheeks had a red tint to them now, and his lips were parted slightly. the moment seemed to last forever– not that either of them minded– before they returned to kissing each other.

in the back of their minds, both of the boys were thinking of how they wished this could last forever.

they stayed in jinyoung's bed for a couple more hours, staring at each other, thinking, but not speaking.

jinyoung was glad they finally graduated, and he couldn't wait to go to college with jackson, where jinyoung's parents couldn't keep them from seeing each other and so on. jackson felt the same way.

they would never say this out loud just yet, but they dreamt of the same future. jinyoung wanted to marry jackson, and vice versa. they wanted to grow old together, living the dream life. in their minds, they had already planned out their entire future together.
