Chapter 9

Ivy's POV.

I was so excited to be going to the Gypsy Den because it is so beautiful and totally like a garden. Once we got to the car, Jason opened the door for me.

Such a gentlemen.

I chuckled and hoped in. He rounded the car, got it and started it up. The faint roar of engine was in the background of the music playing of the radio. We sat there in silence but it's wasn't awkward, it was nice and comfortable.

Jason kept looking at me through the mirror, even though I was in the front seat.

"What, why are you looking at me like that." I said breaking the silence.

"I am just looking at how beautiful you are."

I couldn't stop the grin forming on my face and I had a slight blush on my cheeks

"Well thanks, but I am not that pretty."

I said while all my insecurities coming into mind.

Jason turned towards me with this serious face and since we were at a stop light, he cupped my face.

"Ivy, never ever say that. You are more than gorgeous. Just except it." He said while pecking my lips.

"Thanks"i said blushing

I really didn't think I was that pretty but I wasn't going to rock the boat with Jason and ruin the moment. Through out the car ride we sat there talking and talking.

Once we got there, we hoped out of the car. I was super excited to get to the restaurant. Right when we got there we were seated.

The scenery was amazing. At the wooden table on the patio. There was these beautiful willow trees and hanging on them were string of lights inside jars. There were plants everywhere and it was just so perfect.

We ordered and the good was amazing all organic and stuff. We chatted about different things and I was overly happy. This could not get any perfect.

But I was wrong. Jason got this big cheesy grin on his face. And when I asked what was up with his face. He pulled out a velvet box and opened it. In side was a silver necklace with a heart on it.

" Oh my god, Jason this is amazing. why did you get me this?"

"I wanted to give you this to make you know you are mine. Turn the heart over."

On the other side was an inscription:

You are mine and will forever be. I will always protect you my sweet. Love Jason

I just looked at him and I grinned.

"Thank you I love it." After saying that I kissed him with all I had.

He instantly responded back. Our lips moving in sync together. The kiss was just blissful, filled with all the passion we had together. After we broke the kiss. He rested his forehead on mine and we both just smiled. I looked into his orbs and all I saw was love.

"Come on sweetheart, let's get back to school." he said smiling. I grabbed my purse and we walked back to the car, smiling hand in hand
