It was around 7:56 PM when George started writing his songs. It was most likely going to be a long night, George has to stay up late in order to finish all the songs that he owed the band.
No matter how hard he tried to come up with lyrics, all he could think about is Jon.
It only has been a few hours since he left & he already misses Jon. He misses his smile, his laugh, but especially the way he makes George feel every time he's near.
Perhaps Jon's presence would inspire George to write lyrics for his songs. But then again, maybe the band was right. Maybe Jon is too big of a distraction for him.
All this thinking of Jon perked George's curiosity, what is the band doing without him?
He hates feeling anger & jealousy whenever he is left out of a meeting. How could they leave the most important member out of a meeting...?

Jon's P.O.V:
"Do you think we were a little too harsh on George?" Roy asked as he began tuning his guitar.
"Nah. In fact, I think we needed to be more harsh on him. You know how George is," Mikey replied.
Jon sighed & leaned back in his chair.
All this talk of George bothered Jon. Why can't he be apart from George & not think about him?
His only hope was that George finished the songs he needed to finish. If only he could be there to help George. But Jon knew that the band was right. He doesn't want to distract George to the point where he can't finish his songs.
Roy looked up from his guitar & smiled at Jon. "Alright there Jon? You don't look so good."
Jon shrugged. "Fine. I just want George to finish his songs. I'm worried that he won't."
Mikey gave Jon 'the eye'. "Really Jon? That's all? I don't think so. Is there something you're not telling us that maybe you want to tell us?"
Jon shifted uncomfortably in his seat. There was absolutely no way he was going to spill the secret. Not here, not now. And he couldn't possibly explain what he REALLY was thinking without having to spill.
"Yeah. I'm FINE," Jon snapped. Probably not the appropriate use of tone to use but he got the point across he doesn't want to be bothered.
Mikey snickered. "I have no idea what's going on, but I swear George & you are hiding something from us. Now, whether you tell us or not doesn't matter. We'll find out eventually."
Sure. Of course who else but Roy & Mikey think they know exactly what's going on. It irritates Jon. To think that even a small act towards George would risk exposing their relationship.
Jon can only hope that George & him are in the clear. At least for now...

George lifted his head off of his desk. He checked the clock.
Shit. He fell asleep again.
George laughed. If the band honestly thought he was finishing his songs tonight, they were crazy. The amount of times he fell asleep in the middle of writing was too many to count.
A sudden double knock sounded at the door.
George jumped out of his seat. Finally, some company. But who is it?
George opened the door to find one of his favorite people standing there, with coffee & two bags of Dunkin' Donuts.
George smiled. "Marilyn!" He leaned in to hug his best friend.
He let Marilyn in & they settled themselves down on the couch.
"It feels like forever since I last seen you. Haven't changed a bit I see." Marilyn looked him up & down.
George again smiled. He forgot how much Marilyn made him do that.
"Some things have changed. I would fill you in but It's a long, very complicated story that you don't have time for."
Marilyn laughed. "Oh George, I have all the time in the world! Please, do fill me in."
"Okay." Marilyn turned around on the couch to face George. George picked up his coffee, took a sip, & began to tell Marilyn everything he missed.

Jon's P.O.V:
The band was finally done with the "meeting" & began to pack up & head home.
Jon was nearly jumping with joy. He certainly wasn't going home. No, he was going to see George.
Jon walked out to the parking lot & got in his car. He turned the ignition & the car rumbled to life. Jon smiled. Off to George's house he goes.
It wasn't very far from the meeting to George's house. As he pulled up in the driveway he noticed another car as well. Strange. Who else came to visit George?
He shut the car off, got out, and raced to George's door. He knocked.
It took George a few minutes to open it. George looked completely shocked. "Jon! The meeting is over already?"
Jon nodded. "Yes it is. Kind of boring without you there actually. Can I come in?"
George looked behind him & then back at Jon. He stepped out & closed the door behind him. Jon was curious.
"Marilyn is here. I know you never met him. He's my best friend. I know you want to see me Jon, but now is not a good time."
Jon nodded and stared at the ground. "I get it. That's fine. I just...really wanted to see you."
George smiled. He took a few steps towards Jon but tripped over his own feet & nearly fell. But of course, he didn't. Jon caught him.
"Thanks. Lost my balance I guess," George laughed as he regained his balance.
Jon laughed as well. "Are you okay? Do I need to hold you're hand in order for you to walk?"
"No, but you can hold my hand whenever you want. And I'm okay. I'm always okay whenever you're around."
Jon smiled and took George's hand. He pulled George closer to him & kissed him.
George put his hands around Jon's waist. And Jon's around George's waist.
Jon pulled away for a brief minute. "George, we are okay."
Jon was about to kiss George again when George stopped him. He put his finger against Jon's lips. "No Jon. We are better than okay. We are perfect."
Jon laughed & nodded. "Okay. We're perfect," he said as he leaned in to kiss George once more.
