Inside Room 3-0-2

Prologue

"Audrey look, our new roommate letters are here!" My best friend Emma called from our tiny little kitchen of our dorm room. I put an excited look on my face and headed to the kitchen to see my further destiny. Me and Emma had only been in the same dorm room for a year but we had become best friends. I really think the only reasons I hate her are because of her horrible temper and her awkward boyfriend who always stares at me.

I never tried pointing it out to Emma but there is something about him that makes me feel different and not in the good way...

I had finally reached the kitchen while thinking my thoughts. Emma was standing with a white sheet of paper in her hand. I've got to tell you Emma is one hell of a beauty. She has short but beautiful strawberry blond hair. She has the fairest of skin, the bluest of eyes and the cutest of freckles. She is practically a piece of perfection. I on the other side, am the opposite of perfection. I have long hair which is dirty blonde but the frizz and the split ends wear me down. I have brown eyes but Emma's blue eyes are brighter and more mesmerizing. We are the same size but she looks so much skinnier than me. She is a goddess while I'm such a pig!

Anyways, getting back to the point, our letter was here in Emma's hands. Over this past year, there have been too many issues swarming around this college. The principal passed away this year while a student went to prison for driving him over on purpose. Things are crazy. We got our new principal about a month ago and he thinks that the students should start fresh. We were told that we were going to be assigned with people who we don't really even know to try getting a better understanding of he people surrounding us and to try changing the way we see the world.

Stupid principal.

He has all his fancy words set in his head but they always come out randomly.

I walked over to Emma and stood right in front of her. I slowly saw her eyes widen and her mouth drop.

"Em what's wrong?"

"This is horrible Audrey! I got Collins Henry!!"
Em told me. My mouth dropped copying her. Collins Henry was the schools ugliest and worst person. Honestly just about anyone could compare with her easily. I felt so bad for my best friend but at the same time, inside I was laughing my life out. This was hilarious!

As I was laughing in my head, I started wondering who I got. I saw the envelope of the papers sitting next to the sink. I walked over to the folded piece and slightly opened it to find a piece of paper sitting in it. I carefully and slowly reached my hand out to grab it. It stuck to my shaking hand and I finally decided to open the paper after staring at it for a long pregnant second.

Em kept staring at me waiting for me to tell her who my room mate was. I finally opened the paper and read at the top the difficult words explaining why this was happening and the rules. I took a quick scan of it all and then brought my eyes to the bottom of the paper.

My eyes widened and I was shaking horribly. I was going to be stuck with this person for 2 years of my college.

"Rey who did you get? Em questioned me.

On my paper read Tyler Hoods.
Emma's boyfriend.

This was going to be the worst 2 years of my life!

Ok this was just something that came to mind after reading another story. I swear that this idea wasn't copied off of anything. I really wanted to try writing something new and something that would challenge me in some way so I chose to write about this. I hope my prologue sounded somewhat exciting.
